Great build up for...
I think this season was an excellent build up to what's going to be a chaotic series finale, every episode was better than the next and had just the right amount of story mixed w/action to keep the episodes going at a good pace and keep you wanting more!

Phenomenal Edition (Steelbook)... okay season
I'm a HUGE Game of Thrones fan... have been from the beginning. And while I was worried that the producers wouldn't do a good job with the show once they ran out of material from the books, Season 5 & 6 laid all of those concerns to rest. This however, was easily the sloppiest season. It was a major disappointment upon a first viewing for many reasons (rushed romance between Jon & Dany; lack of character building; deus ex machina endings to cliffhangers; logical inconsistencies). But the product is phenomenal - I love these Steelbook editions. And upon watching the season a second time through, along with all the other seasons, my criticisms didn't bother me as much (though they are certainly still there and valid). This is still an essential part of the GOT story. And you need the Steelbook edition.
