The Powerswitch is a good system which could be great with a few updates. I’m using it to control auxiliary lights on my truck with my iPhone. You can also use an iPad, Android phone, or certain Garmin GPS devices. First, what would make this great: CarPlay is my top request; having controls for aux lighting on my truck’s large touch screen would be amazing. I wouldn’t have to worry about my phone falling while off roading. Second, dimming lights could be easier. You set the dimming level for a device when configuring that device; there’s not a straight forward way to dim it on the fly. If you’ve used any home automation, like HomeKit, with a dimmer light switch, that’s the sort of control I’d like to see. Fortunately, there’s a decent workaround, and this leads me to the first of the features I really like. You can set up custom control pages and buttons. These buttons can control multiple devices (toggle on/off all forward aux lights, for example). And you can also set up multiple buttons for a single device. I’ve set up three buttons for my ditch lights: 100% brightness, 50%, and 25%. The Powerswitch is compact, making it easy to find a place under the hood (I mounted it on top of my fuse box cover). Being wireless is also an obvious huge plus. Not only do you not have to worry about running wire through the firewall, but you can control devices from outside the vehicle. So far, I’m extremely happy with the device. Some small improvements (particularly CarPlay, or Android Auto) would make it just about perfect.

This product works great and is easy to install. Right now I am currently using it to power my ditch lights, light bar, DRL & chase lights on my Tacoma. I no longer have to run wires through the firewall so everything is much easier to install and cleaner as well.
