Q: Can the gas burners be used when the power is out by using a match or lighter?
A: Hi there, In the case of a power outage, you can light the surface burners with a match on your electric ignition gas or dual fuel range or gas cooktop. Hold a lighted match to the burner, then turn the knob to the low position. Use extreme caution when lighting the burners this way. The oven of your gas range is lit by electric ignition, eliminating the need for standing pilots. 1990 and newer gas ovens cannot be lit without power supplied to it. We hope that this helped! A: Hello- We appreciate your question. The handles don't simply slide off, they are attached and wouldn't be simple to reattach. The dimension is given so you will know how far the handle sticks out into your kitchen. Note: The doors can be removed if needed. We recommend at least 2 people remove them. Q: Does this stove come with a propane conversion kit?
A: Hi HD - Yes! All of our gas cooking appliances come ready to be connected to natural gas and also come with an LP conversion kit to connect to LP (Liquid Propane). We recommend a qualified installer or servicer convert the gas range to the proper gas supply needed. The conversion must be in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and all codes and requirements of the authority having jurisdiction.
