  • Features
    • Hard Food Disposer: true (This feature has blades to chop and disintegrate hard food particles, making them small enough to easily drain away. This prevents them from being recirculated back onto dishware and allows for easy maintenance.)
    • Drying Method: Heated drying (Appliances that use heat to dry the dishes will include a heating element or minerals which transform moisture into heat. A fan or vent then circulates the hot dry air throughout the tub during the drying cycle. This may reduce drying time and the risk of water spots. Appliances that use minerals to produce heat are considered more energy efficient than those that include a heating element. Appliances that use condensation drying are considered more energy efficient than those that use heated drying. Instead, high temperature water is produced during the final rinse cycle which warms the interior and eventually condensates and drains out of the machine.)

Q: How well does the drainage ventilation keep the interior dry between loads.

A: Hello- Thank you for checking with us. Heated Dry along with Dry Boost delivers even heat that is up to 3 times better and this will also help with a rinse agent keep the interior dry between loads. If you have any questions in the future, please let us know. We are here to help! Joyce@GEA

Q: Does the piranha food disposal run automatically with each cycle? How long does it run?

A: Hello- Thanks for your question. We are happy to help! Our dishwashers have a an anti-jamming Piranha hard food disposer. The Piranha food disposer comes on automatically inside the dishwasher and grinds food particles before they go down the drain. This clears the passage through to the drain and eliminates the need to pre-rinse dishes. ~The motor pumps 35 gallons of water per minute past the food disposer, through the pump, and back into the tub. We hope this helps! If you have any additional questions, please let us know. We are here to help! Joyce@GEA
