DOA
|Posted .No, I would not recommend this to a friendThe unit was installed and while it would go up and down on command it did not provide any suction. That is the air fan was not working. Had GE repair out twice to get it fixed - once for diagnosis and once to replace the motor. The repair guy said he had never seen a motor failure before.

Disappointing downdraft
|Posted .Downdraft wobbles when in operation. Top panel is curved upward on one side and does not lie flat on counter. After repeated calls to GE and sales person at Pacific Sales I was finally told that a new unit would be ordered for me. Nothing has happened and no one will take or return my calls. I’ve already paid for this faulty unit and am extremely frustrated and very disappointed. I am still hopeful of getting satisfaction.

Exactly what my kitchen needed
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI updated my kitchen. Choose Monogram appliances to replace Monogram because GE guarantees fit. Did not want to worry about re-cutting granite.

Quality3 out of 5Value3 out of 5Ease of Use3 out of 5The downdraft works wonderfully. However the back trim piece is flimsy and is bowed. Pacific Sales/Best Buy installed a new one but the same issue. Monogram came out and the fix is tape and will be corrected thank you Pacific Sales.
