A: I don't think that they change the battery on a watch that is probably only a year old. Mine registered as being 100% health so I am not complaining obviously. It seems to hold a charge very well, lasting more than 24 hrs with my usage.

A: You get what is listed in the description. If it says S/M that is what you get. Of course, it is a simple thing to change the band for a larger (or smaller) size but you would need to purchase the alternative band separately.

Refurbished but looks good as new.
The ad said refurbished, the price was what you would expect for a refurbished item but I can tell you, this watch looked brand new! This watch has all the features that I will need and I could not see buying the latest and greatest Series 11 just to say that it is the newest watch. Doo yourself (and your wallet) a favor and consider a refurbished product. Those Geek guys do an excellent job at polishing up the watch. I don't think it even had a fingerprint on it. I did add a protective cover on the watch because my old watch bit the dust after the screen cracked and then somehow got torn off the watch when I was running some tree branches through my wood chipper!!
