The Hanging Storage Rack from Hastings Home comes complete with hardware to hang over a door or mount directly into the wall. This set of metal shelves can be divided into two separate units with 4 shelves each, or combined for one long 8 shelf rack. The baskets can be spaced out to fit your needs and the included hanging bars allow you store tall items like cleaning bottles or cereal boxes without them falling out when the door is opened.

Q: How much weight does this hold? I need to put canned food in the rack. Thank you.
A: I’m not sure as to the weight amount but it secures to the door I keep mine pretty full with can goods and boxed items.
Q: Are the hangers over the door covered in vinyl to prevent damage to the other side of door?
A: They’re painted. We’ve used it on two different doors and there hasn’t been any damage to either.
Q: Is there a backside to this door rack or is it wide open in the back?
A: The back of the rack is open. If it’s a door that is used often you can screw in the bottom to the door or else the rack can swing and the items will fall out.
A: Hanging from top of door 75 inches down and 18 inches across. comes with 8 baskets and u can choose how many to put on if you divide into 2 or if you use as 1. I am only using 6 baskets for what I need. It specified in instructions each basket can hold 20 pounds but maximum for whole rack 80 pounds. It is very easy to assemble. A great buy I bought on deal of the day and wished I bought more. I am using in kitchen pantry but will buy another to put in bathroom closet
