What is Zip?
Zip is a payment method that allows you to split nearly any purchase* (including taxes, shipping charges and finance charges) into easy payments, allowing you to buy the products you need now, and pay over time.
How does Zip work if I am shopping on BestBuy.com?
When you are ready to check out, select Zip under “Other Payment Options” and follow the prompts to either sign in to an existing Zip account, or share a few details to get started. If approved, a payment breakdown will be presented for your installment plan, and you will be asked to agree to Zip’s Terms and Conditions before placing your order. Zip requires your legal name, address, date of birth, a U.S. mobile number, and either a U.S. debit or credit card to sign up. Rather than having a traditional username and password, Zip requires a mobile phone number and text message verification to log in.

- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a valid and verifiable U.S. mobile number
- Use a U.S. credit or debit card to make a purchase
- Use the Zip app (for in-store purchases)
How much does using Zip cost?
