Q: We have a plug-in outdoors. Will this work outdoors on deck when chilly???
A: Hello, You want to use a heater outdoors? ...and heat what? The air around you? This heater is probably not to be used for the application that you are "thinking" about - since there is no mention of the "usage" in your question, other than "can it be used outdoors". More specifically, what exactly do you want to heat outside? I doubt that you will feel any warmth from this heater outside. Blankets; a nice warm jacket; a fire pit; all of these will keep you warm outside on a chilly night. A heater that blows warm air into the great outdoors? Probably not. Happy Holidays!
Q: Is this heater easy to move around from room to room? Or to carry up or down the stairs?
A: Yes very compact and doesn't weigh that much. And it also has a gap at the top back for you to hold it. My wife and I are expecting in 4 weeks and she is able to carry it up stairs.

A: 60 degrees is the lowest setting. It does not have a no freeze setting.
