One of the best PS Exclusives!
|Posted .Storytelling: It's great, probably next to The Last of Us. However, the lip sync is off at times, could be annoying to some people. To me, it's a flaw which can be overlooked given there are so many other things to enjoy in this game. I think dialogues are very well written and voice acting is good as well. Music: Pretty good music throughout the game, love Aloy's theme. Landscape: It's a vast and beautiful open world for you to explore. Save points are throughout the map. Fast travel is easy and accessible. There are different hostile and non-hostile things to kill all over the place. Graphics: The best till date on any console and for any games that I've played thus far or watched youtube videos, be it Rise of the Tomb Raider, Uncharted 4, Elder Scrolls Online, Witcher 3 etc. Machines: There are different kinds of machines which are beautifully designed, with the right strategy you can kill most of them relatively easily, gotta learn how to hunt when you play the game! Weapons: An Interesting selection that goes well with the game theme. Almost each type of weapon has something to offer, it's up to you how to use the selection that's at your disposal. I personally enjoyed most of the weapons. I usually prefer bows over guns and that's another reason for me to absolutely love this game. Armors: Usually I do not like armors offered in most of the games after experiencing the Daedric armor in Skyrim. However, this game offers quite a few armors that are absolutely beautiful. I did enough farming which I enjoyed, unlike Elder Scrolls Online, to buy each and every weapon and armor that was available. Game style: You can run and kill some machines or go for stealth kills using the spear, but for some, you need more finesse which would require traps and ranged attacks. I personally enjoyed different strategies to exploit most weapons. Skills: I think skill tree is a bit brief but well explained and pretty relevant which makes it easy to know where you want to prioritize to use your skill points unlike some games which have too much going on and you have little clue how to get most out of your skill points as some upgrades are little to no use. Crafting: This is very well laid out and you can do it on the go as long as you have enough resources. I always had plenty of resources because I spent quite a bit of time just exploring the beautiful world and farming for the resources. I think I like the fact that I didn't have to gather hundreds of things like some other RPG games. Collectibles: I think people who like to find each and every collectible will enjoy this aspect of the game because there are a lot of collectibles scattered all over the huge open world. Inventory: The interface is beautiful and easy to navigate. However, the modification section is a bit unorganized where uncommon, rare and very rare mods are not sorted appropriately. Quickslots: Appropriate and easily accessible, comes handy in the heat of a fight. Controls: Responsive and easy. Photo Mode: You can use this feature to capture beautiful screenshots throughout the game. I've posted a couple of screenshots here. My current PS4 Theme is custom using one of the many screenshots that I have from the game. Difficulty: I played the game on the normal difficulty which I think was neither too hard nor too easy. I saw a couple of people giving the game bad rating because they did not like the difficulty level (either too difficult or too easy), to me this is in your control and you can choose whatever difficulty you want. If you need some challenge or want to take it easy you can change the difficulty. Issues: I have not experienced any issues while playing the game. I think some people experienced game crashing during the intro video which I think has already been addressed. Overall I think this game is a perfect blend of primal and futuristic world with amazing graphics and story to give you an amazing gaming experience. I think each aspect of the game is beautiful and what makes this game amazing is the fact that each piece goes very well together. There is a lot to do and this game is fun all the way. I did not mind logging in countless hours into this game.

Amazing Story & Flawless Gameplay
|Posted .This is a game I picked up only because I really wanted a new RPG and heard great things about this game. I'd only seen about 10 seconds of review footage but I could tell the game was beautiful from that intro. Fast forward to now, I have 77% completion and put 100 hours into the game and I feel sad the end is near! I love the game and couldn't bear to spoil the story itself for anyone who does pick it up. But really, I have to say it. Even if it's been said before. This is the most beautiful game I've played in my life. The controls are solid. The interface is great. Quests are interesting and progress well. Collection stuff is collection stuff, but with minor rewards. The variety of side activities fill in your levels if you need them for skills. Some of them even give skill points. Photo mode in the (Options) menu (usually) lets you play with the camera in advanced mode for your screenshots. Multiple save functions make it easier to go back with auto save, quick save, and 5 manual save slots. Speaking from experience, I think the upgrade to PS4 Pro for the "PS4 Pro Enhanced" options is probably only worth it if your 4k TV is 50" or larger or if you play close to your 4k display. Also, I think Digital Deluxe version is worth it if you don't care about the physical disc and like digital goodies. I wound up buying Digital Deluxe for myself after giving the disc version to a friend and it applied the rare items to my existing game save, which was pretty cool.

Breathtaking Heart-Pounding Adventure
|Posted .This game justified my PS4 purchase. I frequently caught myself just staring at the wonderfully crafted world that opened up around me as the game progressed. The difficulty can be easily changed during play for those looking for a challenge, but even casual players should be able to feel like a true warrior as they learn the skills to take down their machine prey.

Absolutely Amazing
|Posted .If you have been looking for one of those games to show off how beautiful a game can be, this would be it. Horizon provides amazing environmental visuals, and great character design. The scale of some creatures, compared to your player, sometimes leaves you in awe, and other times running for your life. This game is just visibly stunning, but it also has a great storyline, with plenty of side missions, within a vast open world. At times, there are multiple main missions, which lead you to areas that open even more side missions. Getting started with the game, takes a couple hours, while you learn the game, and get introduced to the story. Unlike other games, this is not a hand held tedious task, but it is the only time the game feels a bit on rails. I have not hesitated at recommending this game to friends, and every one of them have loved this game, since picking it up.

Bet game I've played in a while
|Posted .I absolutely love this game. It's an open world RPG action adventure. The last game that I loved this much was The Last Of Us. Horizon Zero Dawn's story, graphics and gameplay are soo amazing. Very smooth and fluid. Guerilla Studio's first attempt at an open world RPG is a grand slam home run. I haven't finished it yet. My wife did and got the Platinum and it took her about 60 hours. Such a great game. You should do yourself a favor and get this game. Absolutely stunning game. And photo mode is amazing.

Stunning Graphics and an Excellent Story
|Posted .This is the best game that I have seen come out in a long time. The graphics are absolutely stunning and beautiful. The story line grips you from the moment you start and makes it a hard game to put down. After playing for 8 hours, I learned that everything that I have done so far is only part of the "tutorial island" and that I have barely scratched the surface of this game's content. I look forward to diving even further into this game.

An excellent open world action RPG
|Posted .Ive had a lot of fun with Horizon Zero Dawn. The plot and characters are interesting and keep you coming back to unravel the story. Voice acting was superb, with a variety of different characters to interact with. The visuals are top notch and I often found myself just looking around the scenery or admiring the details on clothes, hair, or the machines. Combat is simple to pick up but challenging with different enemies having varied strengths and weaknesses. The game offers around 50 hours of gameplay, give or take a few based on your style. Highly recommended, one of the best PS4 games available.

Absolutely Amazing Game
|Posted .I have not been blown away by a game like in Horizon: Zero Dawn since the Witcher 3. Not only is the story excellent, but it's arguably the most beautiful PlayStation 4 exclusive game to date. I could tell you more, but I don't want to give anything away. Every gamer deserves the wonderful experience of Horizon:ZD by playing it, not just reading a gushing review. Out of all the games I have recommended, this game has the highest recommend I can give. 10/10 A+

Q: QuestionDo i have to buy this online to get the discounted price or can i pick it up at a store?
Asked by Zach.
- A:Answer Yes you can. I literally just walked out of my local best buy with Horizon Zero Dawn in hand. I picked one up from the shelf and took it to the register where I showed the cashier the advertised price on the website. He called the manager for an override, they compared SKU #'s, and I was honored the $19.99 price. Maybe I got lucky? Idk. Worth you giving it a shot. I can vouch that price matching in store with online works. Good Luck.
