Q: When you change the printer cartridge can you just change the black one or you do you need to change the colored one at the same time?

A: Just noticed the"HPTeam" failed to mention that IF ANY COLOR INK IS OUT YOU ARE NOT PERMITTED TO PRINT BLACK ONLY UNTIL YOU REPLACE THE EMPTY COLOR CARTRIDGE!!

Q: DOES THE 8216 HAVE A FEEDER TRAY FOR SCANNING AND PRINTING????

A: This printer only prints; it does not scan.

Q: This is just a bit ambiguous in the product description - this printer comes with 2 input trays as pictured, correct?

A: yes, there are two trays - works great.

Q: does this printer come with any ink cartridges

A: yes. these are only starter cartridges. would suggest buying ink cartridges in the near future depending on how many items you print.

Q: HP model 8216 Printer, when was it introduced?

A: The product launch date was September 1, 2016.

Q: If I print a document that requires both letter and legal paper, will the printer automatically print the actual size needed? Do I have the option to print only using black ink? This is a Deal of the Day, so need answer before 72 hours, please.

A: Yes this model will automatically switch between the paper type. It can also print in black only but always requires the colors present to print since the printhead is separate from the cartridges.

Q: Can i airprint from this device?

A: Yes that is why I bought it!

Q: Does this printer print on 11x14 thick watercolor paper and is the ink waterproof?

A: You would need to use the HP 7720 or 7740 for printing up to 11x17.
