Rating: ★★★★★ (5/5) I recently bought the HP OMEN 16.1" Gaming Laptop and, so far, it's been impressive. While I haven't used it extensively, here's what I think: Pros: Great Performance: The Intel Core i7 processor and 16GB DDR5 memory (upgraded to 32GB for around $90+tax. easily installed with YouTube tutorials) handle everything smoothly. Fantastic Display: The 165Hz Full HD screen makes games look vibrant and smooth. The high refresh rate really helps in fast-paced games. Solid Graphics: The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 offers amazing graphics and real-time ray tracing. Looking forward to playing more Elden Ring on it. Plenty of Storage: The 1TB SSD has ample space for my games, and load times are quick. Cons: Not Very Portable: At 16.1 inches, it's not the easiest to carry around. Even the 16in size laptop bag I ordered wouldn't squeeze it in. More of a desktop replacement. Battery Life: I keep it plugged in most of the time, so battery life isn't an issue for me. However, the hardware can drain the battery quickly. Final Verdict The HP OMEN 16.1" Gaming Laptop is a great pick for gamers who want performance and visuals. It has some drawbacks, like portability and battery life, but its strengths far outweigh them. If you're into gaming and need a powerful laptop, this one won't disappoint.

Solid build, runs every game I’ve played.
I bought this about three weeks ago. I worked in information systems for years and just got burned out on computers in the last computer that I bought was back in 2008 so I needed one and I looked for probably six months until I found this one. I went out to Best Buy because they said they had it in stock And when I got there, the salesman wasn’t really interested in helping me very much so I asked him to call the manager over and the manager sold me the display model for a very good deal. I couldn’t say no. Besides it just having 16 GB of RAM (which I will upgrade) it hasn’t hit a snag or a game I couldn’t run wide open. It it is a gaming computer so you might get about an hour to an hour and a half with it. Unplugged doing some hard-core gaming. If you’re just using it for casual stuff, the battery will last for 4 to 5 hours. I completely drained the battery the other night and it charged to 100% in an hour. I am very pleased with it and my family is pleased that I’m not looking for a computer anymore. Boot up to play time is under a minute. I love it.

Amazing pc, but battery could be better.
Amazing laptop, does pretty much what I need it to do for gaming and heavy/light tasks. High refresh rates help as well, awesome for streaming movies & videos also gaming. Battery could be better, but this is expected for components like this for what it has. I get around 40 mins of gaming and then need to plug it in, otherwise amazing machine. Temps are in healthy range, norhing dangerous.
