Q: What kind is the motherboard. Is it a MSI or what?
A: It has a Thimphu-K motherboard. Form factor: uATX: 24.0x24.0 cm (9.4x9.4 in) Chipset: Z170 Memory sockets: 4 x DDR4 Processor socket: LGA1151 Expansion Slots: 1 PCI Express x16 (Gen3.0) 1 PCI Express x1 (Gen3.0) One M.2 socket 1, key A One M.2 socket 3, key M
A: Yes you can. However, there is only 1 HDMI port on the graphics card and 3 display ports. I picked up an HDMI to Display port adapter and then used that to hook up my 2nd monitor with existing HDMI cable.
A: I've had mine for about a month now. no issues at all. in fact, I can tell you the cpu temperatures hovers between 39-49 degrees. there's a way to monitor cpu temperature with the color bars on the front of the machine.
Q: Is this an i7-7700 processor?
A: Correct. Intel Core I7-7700.
A: No, it doesn't. I bought an NVMe (Samsung 960) to maximize the performance. Easy to install, and much faster than a standard SATA SSD.
Q: What is the FPS average running medium Quality setting for a game like arma 3?
A: Medium settings? haha, no way man I've played every game under the sun of this thing and never once set it to anyhting less than High. 9 times out of 10 I'm running it on Ultra because the Nvidia Geforce experience program that you can download with your card monitors your gameplay , optimizes performance, and suggests the optimal graphics settings to get the most FPS while maintaining the best posible graphics I dont play Arma but in gmaes like Overwatch I'm getting 120 - 160 FPS on High and 110-140 on Ultra settings no problem. Heres a list of games I play fairly regularly and the averag FPS i get while playing them. Keep in mind this is with no upgrades at all, exactly how I got it at Best Buy. Overwatch / Ultra - 120 - 160 FPS Witcher 3 / Ultra - 110 - 130 FPS (High 120 - 150) Civilization V / Ultra - 130 - 170 FPS XCom 2 / Ultra - 110 - 130 FPS (High 150 - 170 FPS) Dirty Bomb / Ultra - 160 - 190 FPS Warface / Ultra - 170 - 200 FPS Payday 2 / Ultra - 160 - 190 FPS I could keep going but I think you get the point. Ofcourse the FPS will drop and/or spike occassionally but only for 1-2 seconds max and rarely affects anything noticeably. I'm not lying when I say that any AAA PC game or indie or whatever you play this will have no problem handling it. I've actually seen a couple games run around 280+ FPS for extended periods of time during heavy on screen action. Its ridiculously unbelievable, so much so that I have 4 different FPS monitors running just to make sure they were not glitching. DrStrangeFunk
A: upgrade question = yes 4k gaming wihtout lag = that depends on a lot of different factors. what game? how high you want the graphical settings?
Q: Will warranty be void if we upgrade like add SSD?
A: I had the geek squad install the ssd and put the os on it with their plan. Works really well.
