Adequate Budget Machine

I figured the rx 550 would give some light gaming options if needed. Pc is loaded with typical bloatware. Not a lot of upgrade options. It does have an m2 slot for an ssd but no retention screw in the slot for the ssd. Lastly, only one dimm in the machine so no dual channel memory mode. Overall, an adequate machine. No frills.

And HP needs to make the cd/dvd drive horizontal rather than vertical, the drawer is harder to close due to it.

Hard drive corrupted

They wanted me to take into store for repair, but I know they would have kept if forever and then wiped it clean or said it couldn't be fixed. Instead I called someone who knew what they were doing and it was a corrupted hard drive and he replaced it with a better one with no moving parts to corrupt. I am cancelling geek squad and will go elsewhere when time comes for new computer.
