A: Yes it absolutely is. Purchased this for my wife and she’s been able to get all her projects done and use multiple screens for each class. Has an awesome touchscreen to use to scroll through instead of using her arrow keys. She has loved it and has been the best thing we could’ve bought for the buck for her college classes
Q: Will the keys get damaged when the laptop is rotated and placed down?
A: Thank you for reaching out. The keys are recessed enough so that they do not touch when you fold the keyboard. There are also rubber feet that the computer rests on when it is in tablet mode.
Q: Does it come with a USB port?
A: There are not as many USB ports as I would like -- they are in short supply. Also, there is no CD/DVD - had to buy an external drive and had to buy a USB hub in order to add the CD/DVD external drive.
Q: Does this laptop run games like Fortnite, Leauge of Legends, and World of Warcraft well?
A: Thank you for reaching out to us. This model would run those games but would not run likely more than 30fps on lower settings.
Q: Can I put an m2 ssd in this and use as the boot drive while keeping the hard drive?
A: Yes, you could use an NVME SSD or Optane memory with this computer.
Q: So I bought this laptop is it good for Photoshop, video editing and sometimes play Fortnite?
A: This computer does not have a GPU which is what would be useful when doing intense video, photo editing as well as playing games. I am sure you would be able to play fortnite on the lowest settings but it would not be near as good or as high an FPS as it would be on a gaming computer.
Q: Does this laptop have an Ethernet cable plug?
A: No. HDMI, two USB plugs, one USB C plug, a headphone out plug, and an SD slot. USB to Ethernet dongles are cheap and easy to use.
A: I am pretty sure this comes with a 12 month warranty. If under a year, contact HP, or if you purchased an extended warranty at purchase, contact Best Buy. BTW, did you try starting in "safe" mode?
