Q: How deep can I take this device while scuba diving?
A: One meter for thirty minutes in salt/fresh water (IPX7). If you buy the waterproof cap it will last for 120 minutes in three meters of fresh/salt water (IPX8). A: Yes, but it's not the best. The pin-hole microphone is located on the top of the RE

A: no it does not. It includes the home charger, for wall mount and usb charging. Also comes with an end cap and small wrist lanyard to cover the end cap where the usb charge port for protection. All of the other accessories have to be bought separately. They were recently 50% off all accessories so you might be able to catch them on sale as well. I got the camera itself on black Friday for half off $100 total. Great deal highly recommend the camera and accessories are high quality
Q: Can you use the camera as a web cam?
A: Yes, but the length of time is limited compared to regular video cameras. Still the quality of the video is good but I have not taken too many videos compared to the photos I use it for.
Q: Do you need a phone to use it?
A: No phone needed, but to see what you are taking a photo of beyond aiming the camera, the free download app to your smart phone is recommended. Once you connect to a wireless connection, you can see what you are taking a photo or video of for adjustment and for adequate selfie use from a distance when the camera is stationary.
Q: Can you record video without having to hold it ?
A: Yes. Once the sensor button is pressed to video it will continue recording until it's stopped
Q: Is the end cap that comes with it waterproof?
A: Yes and no. You have to buy another kit to go to certain lengths underwater. They aren't very clear about that in the item description or in the manual that comes with the device
