Awesome machine, but...
|Posted .Sooooooo... My wife and I bought two of these machines (Didn't really wanna build again) looking to upgrade from our 5 year old gaming PC's. As we were leaving the store the excitement and anticipation of how beautiful and flawless the games we play would be kept building. We safely got out two new adoptions home and carefully unboxed and set them up. The left side of the case is tempered glass which lets you peer inside the machine to look at all the pretty RGB lighting (wife and I could care less about RGB) going on inside. I inspected the components of the machines and found our GPU's, RAM, SSD's, and PSU's to be different from one another. In all fairness, iBuyPower does use what the have around their facility to build the machines. The machines were then setup and powered on, games installed, and then moment of truth. GLORIOUS! Oh SO GLORIOUS, for the first hour... That's when the machine I'd setup at my wifes desk started to BSOD. RAM... The RAM was complete crap. 16GB of some crap brand called APACER. I used MemTest86 to be sure it was the RAM and it showed almost 1M errors within. Did I take her machine back to BestBuy? No. I did some trouble shooting. I placed the RAM from my machine in hers and whaddaya know, no errors. Did I THEN take the machine back? No, I did what any PC savvy person would do... I ordered RAM from Amazons PrimeNow to get things going. Long story short, it's not their fault the RAM was dead, these things can happen. Would I recommend the machines, most definitely. They are powerful, and CRUSH any game I throw at it. Anthem at Ultra - Check. BFV at Ultra - Check. Roblox at Ultra - CRUSHES IT!!! I've included pictures so you can get a basic idea of what components MIGHT be in there if you purchase one. Good luck, and good gaming!

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5So my first gaming rig was a I Buy Power PC and I had gotten it from New Egg. 6 years later I was in the market for a new one ( even tho my first one still runs well ) .. I was in the market for something a bit more beefy.. So I go into BestBuy.. I knew what I wanted but I wanted to test the guys there see if they knew what they were talking about.. Told them I wanted something not only for streaming but for rendering videos and so they present me with this and a laptop.. Now I was tempted to get the laptop but I wanted a Computer that like my first would last me a long time and surprise surprise it was a I Buy Power PC.. and I have to say I do not regret it one dang bit.. Love this Beast of a PC.. Its fast and I can play not only the latest games but play VR as well ( still some time before I get a VR Head Set but still ).. Thank you best buy and thank you I Buy Power!.. Love ya both..

If it's not on sale, wait a week or two and it wil
|Posted .It's a decent build in regards to price for parts if you can get it while on sale, though I was slightly annoyed with the cable management out of the box (Not that big of a deal, but I can be a little OCD at times). The power supply is non-modular, so all the extra wires get crammed into the space right behind it. The Keyboard and Mouse feel cheaply made, but that's somewhat expected. The case is pretty solid with a sleek design, and has the front fan plus 2 rear fans sandwiching the radiator for the cpu liquid cooler. The dust screens are cheaply made, and don't cover the entire front opening; However they are more or less completely hidden from view, so they won't stick out like a sore thumb. The RGBs are nice, but there is no documentation in the box on where to adjust or change them. So if you plan to do a clean install of windows like I did, I recommend going through the initial setup long enough to find those programs and make note of them for later. You can also just search for the programs later with the PC model number if you prefer. I can't complain about performance with an i7-8700K and GTX 2080, and even though it came with Adata RAM, it's still 16GB of functioning RAM. It came packaged fairly secure, and even had expanded foam inside the case to support the larger components. All in all, it's not a bad deal if you can find a good sale.

Well built machine

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5This computer works like a bull. It’s fast, well put together, the RGB is a nice touch as well. get this on sale if you can, $1600 is a nice price point for the hardware in this PC. I’ve only played one game on it so far on ultra (BF5) and it breezes through it. It came as overnight shipping (it was free) and it came a day earlier than it was supposed to, so it was a nice surprise. This is an awesome investment that’ll bring years of fun gaming with strong hardware

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5New computer was delivered today and works as promised. The computer came with a keyboard and mouse that light up. The keyboard prevents water or any liquid from entering the keyboard..always a plus in my book. keystroke life cycle of 10 million keystrokes;multimedia buttons;logo lighting effect;lightweight and USB connection.. desktop runs quiet and the NVIDIA RTX graphics card is amazing. I look forward to putting this machine thru its paces.

Amazing value & great performance
|Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I'm a professional designer and spend most of my day in processor & GPU intensive programs like Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign & Premiere Pro. I recently switched from Mac to Windows and have a high end laptop, but it struggled on big projects. I knew I had to get a desktop but didn't want to spend a ton. We were at the local Best Buy, and I saw this machine and thought it offered a lot for the price, so I came home and started doing research. I knew the CPU wasn't the latest version, but after looking up performance differences, I felt the money I was saving would more than make up for the slight performance difference. I was also a little worried because each machine seems to come with different components, but I decided to take a gamble and buy it. Well, it turns out, that was nothing to worry about. All the machines are configured with the same level components, meaning you may get a different brand video card or memory brand, but the specs are the same, meaning you get 16GB of ram and a RTX 2080 video card. Knowing I needed a lot of memory and fast disk access, I purchased 32GB of 2666MHz RAM and a Samsung M.2 NVMe 1TB SSD. Installing the memory was a snap. The SSD required taking out the video card, plus I had to provide my own Phillips screw. I like to "start fresh," so after doing the initial setup, I downloaded the Windows Media Creation and did a fresh install. All the components got detected right away. Some of the drivers weren't the most current version, so I downloaded the latest from from the motherboard's website, Nvidia and intel. Overall I love this machine. It's blazing fast. Even the standard hard drive it comes with is super fast. I'm running it at stock speeds, but there is an option to overclock it via a software download on the motherboard's website. The only real downside is with WiFi speeds. I'm on a very fast connection and my Mac & the laptop get maxed out speeds, but on this system, things are 15-20% slower. I tried all sorts of settings & drivers with the network card, but nothing changed, so I ended up hard wiring, and now it too maxes out. Ideally, hardwired is usually better than WiFi anyway, so I'm all good, plus, it'll be great if I start playing games. The computer is also super quiet, and the fans barely spin up except when I'm doing heavy processing. I also like the "clean" setup, meaning there's no junk on it, just basic Windows. You can customize it a bit with motherboard drivers if you want, but other than that, it's stock Windows. Overall I love this machine. I was a little nervous at first, but I'm super happy and satisfied with my purchase.

Great system for multi-tasking
|Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5The desktop (model BB953) was super easy unpack and set up. The you tube video they offered was very helpful to me to make sure I did this right on the first try. I had a quick question for Customer Support about the included dvd and was able to speak with a representative reasonably quickly finish my set up. I actually bought this system for use with photo editing and office software work. The graphics are great and I am loving how easily I am able to multi-task with my different applications without any lag time. Also, I set this desktop up to work with 4 monitors as it has HDMI and display ports I can use. I would have liked more HDMI options but I was able to use a couple of mini docks to get this up and running. Works great. No problems. If you are using multiple monitors, you can also use plug adapters with the desktop ports to connect and extend your monitor displays too if that is easier for you. I am looking forward to trying a PC game with my new system too.

Beast of a Gaming PC
|Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5So I had to purchase and return a few desktop from a different brand due to issues I keep experiencing. So I decided to purchase this instead, it was out of my budget but after looking at the specs I knew there's no way I would be getting a better deal than this. And it helped that it was the only one left at the store. I'm no expert and coming from a 10 year old macbook pro user all I can say is that I'm pretty glad with this purchase. No issues out of the box, easy to set up and my goodness this thing is fast and pretty quite. I'm only playing Rise of the tomb raider right now but let me tell you I'm beyond amazed at how good the graphics card is, no lag or nothing!!!! I'm just waiting for the other games I want to play to go on sale!!!! I also, bought an xbox controller... so now I feel like I have an xbox and a PS4 in my room =). If you're having doubts with this purhase... don't have any and go buy it!!!

Q: QuestionHow do I change the color of the liquid cooler? I have the RGB for the PC set to Red because that is my set up color but the liquid cooler wolf emblem is still lighting up green. Any help would be appreciated!
Asked by ShawtyGetLuce.
- A:Answer If you do not have the ASRRGBLED program installed, download it from the ASRock website. It is in the utilities download section with a name of "ASRock Polychrome RGB ver:1.0.32". I downloaded it from the "Fatal1ty B360 Gaming K4" page. In the ASRRGBLED program click the Addressable RGB LED Button and move the Addressable RGBSwap slider to the left. You can then set to cooler to a different color or click back on the Apply All and set all of the colors the same.

Q: QuestionHi is this Desktop VR ready? looking to run an Occulus Rift and X-plane 11 on it thanks
Asked by manicman1.
- A:Answer It only has one HDMI out so if you want to use that for a TV or monitor, you will need an active adapter to convert the DisplayPort to HDMI for the Rift. They are usually around $24.

Q: QuestionCurious on my box it says a 2080 rtx 11gb but I looked online today to see specs of 2080rtx says 8gb? Only reason I purchased it was for 11gb video card...
Asked by Mikey8891.
- A:Answer Yeah man very deceptive package for sure. But keep your photo up because I am going to be in legal battle here soon with them over the card. I thought and paid for an 11GB card and I intend to get that card one way or another. Its their fault not ours and they should fix it with those who bought the system prior to fixing their so called "typo" Anyway ill keep you updated if you want as I already hired legal counsil to take them on after their customer service was the worst I have ever seen in a long time.
