Q: Will this case fit my HP Pavillion x360? If not, any suggestions for something similar.
A: Yes if it is a 13 or 14 inch look at your computer it will say hp Pavillion and give a number in the teens. That is what I had ....but warning not enough padding

A: Absolutely! There is an outside pocket that zips shut and a mouse would definitely fit in there!!!
Q: Does this case have any drop protection? If yes form what height?
A: I would assume drop protection is limited to short distances (i.e., a foot or two). This is definitely a soft case.
