Q: Hello. I bought this cable on sale a couple of months ago and cant seem to verify if they support hdmi 2.0 or not.. Also is there a difference in quality when it comes to high vs lower price 4k uhd hdmi cables?

A: Yes, these cables will carry HDMI 2.0 signals. Most HDMI cables are overpriced. As long as your cables support the high speed signals then it doesn't matter what their price is. They will all perform the same, since the signals are digital and not analog.

Q: I am 70 yr PC Challanged.. I would like to Connect my Toshiba Lap Top-VGA , that is currently Connected to a 23" Monitor to my 42" HDTV I have Spectrum Cable and HD and the cable Box.. Do I call them on doing this? Or Hire Geek Squad to do it?

A: 70yrs. You are just figuring things out! Keep going strong! The connection on your tv is what you need to know. The tv will have several inputs. Since you have an HD tv this means it's newer and may not have a VGA (blue-multipin) connection. If that is the case you will need a vga to HDMI adapter ~25.00. You would just use your remote on your tv to switch from your cable input (hdmi 1) to (hdmi 2) laptop connection. Hope this helps,

Q: Is a 4k HDMI connector different than a "standard" HDMI cable or is it the cable quality that allows it to support 4k?

A: It has the same connector as a standard HDMI Cable and your right its the quality that supprts the higher picture quality like 4k

Q: does this cable work for computer to tv?

A: Yes, absolutely. If your computer does not have an HD input/output, you can buy a USB adapter and it works perfectly. I use my HDTV as a computer monitor as well.

Q: why would I need a hdmi cable will it make picture clearer

A: Yes using a HDMI cable will make your picture and sound more clear an crisp. If you are using a HDTV and have HD channels on your cable or are using blu-ray player with a blu-ray disc. Then you will get a better more clear picture. If you are currently not using a HDMI cable then you are going to see a big difference between regular SD TO HD.

Q: DO I need to buy a HDMI CABLE TO get Netflix

A: No Netflix is an app not related to Hdmi

Q: tv hookup

A: Call direct tv and get a more up to date box
