A: I had the same question, so I got YouTube for some help. After watching several "unboxing" videos of this specific bundle -- just search for "insta360 x5 essentials bundle unboxing" -- I'm convinced it DOES include 2 batteries. All the videos I watched showed 1 battery pre-installed in the camera and I more battery loaded in the fast charger accessory. Mine arrives tomorrow, so I'll try up update this one it's in-hand.

A: Simple answer is almost definiately yes. It'll downsample the 4k source video to the 1080p output resolution. DaVinci Resolve has a free version which is almost feature complete to their paid for version and will do 4k video in and out. It's a professional video editor though and there is a learning curve and cycle if you're not familiar with video editors.

Fun camera that is suprisingly capable
Ive own a bunch of go pros for surfing purposes. This thing is way more fun and the software blows gopros out of the water. Being able to reframe the shot is a game changer. I use a case because I dont the ocean and electronics.
