A: Yes, it does. The clamp opens wide enough and the legs are strong enough that it holds it well.

A: Yes, this tripod will fit with an iPhone 11.

Q: What is the maximum height the phone can be held at, that is, with minimal tripod spread?
A: This is a very small tripod. The legs are only 5 inches long. With minimal spread, the bottom of the phone would be elevated by 6 inches. This tripod is primarily a means to steady your phone; it doesn't provide height.
Q: Compatible with samsung s8?
A: I am successfully using it with my Samsung S8. Just be careful to avoid gripping the side keys when setting up.
Q: Will Iphone XS max fit on this?
A: Yes - I've got my XS Max in a Mous case and it fits just fine.
Q: Would this work for an iPad mini?
A: No. I was told by sales person it would work with all devices but it’s not true. It only works for phones and only in landscape orientation. We uset it with an iphone 8 and the latest Samsung.
