Q: What type of songs are on the provided CD's?
A: Public domain family songs
A: Karaoke songs are recorded with two tracks. One for lead vocals. One for background vocals, if they exist in the song, and music. Karaoke machines will cancel the lead vocal track leaving just the music track playing. Karaoke machines do not remove lead vocals in regular CD or MP3 music. Only songs formatted for Karaoke.
A: Most of our machines have a digital key controller, and will record to USB Stick or SD Card. Download MP3G songs from many sites around the internet.
Q: Is this compatible with Android phones?
A: Yes. Compatibility is accomplished by connecting the headphone jack on your device to the AUX-in jack and setting the player to AUX mode. The players do not have a traditional Apple connector. You will not see lyrics on the karaoke screen when the song source is iPod, iPhone, tablets, etc. Lyrics can be viewed on your device screen.
Q: Are you able to use bluetooth and connect with your Ipod ?
A: Yes, your smart device, with Bluetooth capabilities, will connect to the GF840, GF842, GF844 and GF846.
A: The corded microphones can be replaced with wireless microphones. If you need 3 or more active microphones, the cheapest solution would be using a microphone cable "Y" adapter. Going in a more expensive direction, wireless microphones are available in 2, 4, 8 or more combinations. All of which would connect to the karaoke machine.
Q: Can we plug the electric guitar into it?
A: Assuming your guitar has a typical 1/4" (6.3mm) cable end, it can connect to one of the microphone jacks. It does not have a dedicated guitar input.
Q: Can this karioke machine be connected to the television so words appear on the tv screen?
A: Yes, assuming your TV has RCA inputs. If you only have HDMI inputs you will need an adaptor.
