Chain of memories who?

This game will make almost anyone that plays it forget that Chain of Memories ever existed, it's just that good. The sound is almost that of the PS2. The storyline is completely new with a brand new member of Organization 13 (or should it be called Organization 14 now LOL), her name is Xion and like few others she is a keyblade wielder, you play through days now with one mission coinciding with each day and the days go in no particular order so don't try to figure them out but the missions have numbers so that's useful. The graphics are absolutely amazing for the DS, it's a full 3D environment like the rest of the franchise. There's two modes now the first being story mode where you play through the entire story as Roxas and then there's mission mode where either A) you play missions by yourself as any of the Organization 13 plus unlockable characters which are Xion,King Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Riku, and Sora. or B) you can play in multiplayer mission mode with up to three friends to play the missions (which is really fun by the way). One thing that's a little different at first is that with each weapon there's a different attack style, but it's really awesome after a while.
One thing that I didn't like in the game at first was that there's another new system. The new system is called the panel system and is based on blocks and panels (It's a little hard to explain but in the game it's fully explained way better than I can tell you). Here's a quote from Wikipedia that gives the gist of the new system, but if not then just search 358/2 Panel System in Google or Youtube and you should get helpful tutorials and tips. "358/2 Days features a new gameplay mechanic known as the panel system which involves the customization of the character's levels, items, magic, weapons, abilities, armor and accessories. Magic in this game is mainly controlled by this system; certain spells cannot be used if their corresponding panels aren't equipped, but can be used consecutively if multiple are attached. Weapons are also equipped using panels, as well as abilities. There are also "Link Panels" with which multiple panels can be combined to form new, stronger abilities." -Wikipedia
Another thing that really I didn't like at first was how the controls were layed out, because is almost nothing like the PS2 controller.
Those things are basically my only complaints but the rest of the game is FTW.

Fun long game that keeps you busy. If you liked KH1,2, and chain you'll love this. The difference between this and the others are the keys and equips. You use panels to equip items, armor, magic, and level ups...Other than that, this is a great game for people who liked KH1,2, and chain.

Back to what i said about the story line, the game is really you just running off and fighting random monsters and then the videos in between are where you actually learn the stories. if you really want to understand what you are doing, you end up spending a little less than a quarter of your time on the videos. don't get me wrong, i loved all the other kingdom hearts game and this one as well, but it is a little different. First of all, if you played the first game but not the second, than the bad guys (organization XIII) and you the hero (now Roxas) will not make any sense to you. so i suggest before going out to get this game you get the other two first. The game is a little hard to get the hang of at first mainly because it is on the DS but is very worth it.

This is the first Kingdom Hearts game I've ever played. I just one to say that this is one of the greatest game I have ever played! It's just that good! I've never played the other games that are in this series so I was a little worried that once I bought it, I would not like it. But I did and I could stop playing it.
I wasn't a KH fan until now, and this game takes place after the main protagonist, Sora, is turn into a nobody, and basically we are playing his nobody which is Roxas. You go to different worlds and battle the hearts and earn points to change your Keyblade and level up.
One thing that I did not like was that it was short. You do not find out what happen to the other character unless you have KH~Chain of Memories and the other games.
Other then Pokemon, this is an AWESOME RPG Game that I recommend you get! You will not regret it :D

When I first got this game I was so ecited! They haven't made one in four years! But any way I loved it! It gave the storie of this boy named Roxas, try to get kingdom hearts 2 to get up to spead! But any way graphics are good! Sound is awesome! You have to play this! Game imformer rated this game a 8 out of 10. Because there was something wrong with the multiplayer mode. But I liked it! So go out and buy this game!

This of course isnt the best kingdom hearts game. Simply because it is for the ds. However, it has a lot of the same characteristics of the ps2 games. The instruction booklet comes with a summary of all of the kingdom hearts games released in the us. This is a very long game that provides for for hours and hours on end. An absolute must have for all Kingdom Hearts fans!
