Side by side model with the totally unnecessary ice maker and water fountain. Not as roomy but boy when you open the door the led lights simply dazzle. Like looking into the Pesrly Gates. Too early to judge. But it’s quiet and very bright.

The vegetable pull out drawers are a bit on the smaller side. All the shelves and side shelves are adjustable. Plus you have the flexibility of having 4 to 5 shelves. The ice maker and water spout part of the fridge is large enough for large glasses. Water dispenser has a auto mated ounce calculator. The water pressure that comes out of the water dispenser is strong and powerful. You do not have to wait a long time to fill a glass of water. We are a family of four.

I think we got a lemon- horrible product

We have had the same part (thermastor) replaced 3 times. Twice under warranty and once we paid $300 to have it fixed. Neither Best Buy or Kitchenaid believe this refrigerator is a lemon even though the same part has been fixed 3 times in less than 2 years. Very disappointing. We also have water stains down the front of the frig from water running out of the water and ice dispensing area. I would not recommend this refrigerator to anyone.

Stainless steel door panels are irregular

It is impervious to stains and rust, easy to maintain and clean, scratch-resistant and attractive. Monochromatic Stainless Steel Appliances which are available in monochromatic stainless steel are constructed of the same metal as SS appliances, with the exception of the trim, handles and other pieces. These parts are colored a gray or silver tone to blend with the stainless metal, thus creating a monochrome overall theme.

- A:Answer No, only the first couple inches on the side, which is the side of the door. The rest is like a gray plastic material. My refrigerator sticks out from my cabinetry quite a bit. While this bothers me because I would prefer a more built in, clean look, the look of the gray side will never bother me. I don't think anyone else would even notice or give it a second thought.

- A:Answer Not really. I think it's supposed to be, and although it doesn't show the finger smudges as bad as some other stainless steel appliances do, they are definitely still visible.

Q: QuestionI know the door height is 71 1/2" but what is the height of the cabin or the back that goes into the space? I have a 70" clearance.

- A:Answer The very top of the door height, just the first 1/4", is 71 1/8" and the rest of the door including cabinet is 70 3/4". I understand your dilemma of only having a 70" clearance. You might be able to trim the bottom of your upper cabinet. We had to remove ours. Much to our surprise the refrigerator looks so attractive we don't even miss the upper cabinet and will not replace it.
