Wonderful refrigerator
||Posted .I bought a floor sample and was a little worried though I shouldn't have. Probably should have measured before I bought as it is a little large for my kitchen

clear drawers for best use before spoiling
||Posted .After an in depth review/search for a refrigerator, we believe the Kitchen Aid is best suited for our use. We ultimately decided to go with the Kitchen Aid line for the cooktop, dishwasher, microwave .

Love it!!! Especially after Electrolux
Posted .We have had this model for about a year. We had an Electrolux for about two years prior and it was nothing but trouble!! We owned the whole suite of Electrolux appliances but luckily had only installed the fridge. After the problems we were having we postponed installation of the rest and sold them all. At the time we bought them we found a Kitchenaid dishwasher as a floor model in great shape for an unbelievable price so we bought only the dishwasher from Kitchenaid. All the while we struggled with the bad fridge we were loving the Kitchenaid dishwasher I did my homework, read reviews and decided we wanted to use all Kitchenaid appliances. So we sold all the electrolux appliances except the fridge and bought everything in the Kitchenaid line. The other fridge was so bad Electrolux bought it back from us and we promptly bought this. What a breathe of fresh air! This is beautiful, spacious, well lit, easy to clean and quiet! Ice production is more than adequate. Although I've learned with any refrigerator of this design (ice maker inside the fridge not the freezer) if you are planning to entertain many people you will need to plan ahead and hoard ice for a couple of days prior. Empty the ice dispenser into a separate bowl several times over the course of a few days to get adequate ice for the party or just buy a bag. This isn't unique to this model or brand it's all of them. But as for day to day usage this outproduced the Electrolux tenfold. I use a TON of ice daily and it's always performs well. I love the movable shelves and the easy to clean surfaces as well. You won't be disappointed with this purchase. Another reviewer said crushed ice didn't work, ours works fine but I prefer the cubes. Another great feature is the super tall ice dispenser. I never leave my house without a huge thermal cup of ice water and this is perfect. Also blender containers fit under it just fine for smoothies. Pizza boxes in the freezer fit just fine also. And the ice maker doesn't seem to take up as much room as our last one.

An excellent fridge
Posted .The kitchen in our new home is all KitchenAid Architect Series II appliances so this was the natural choice of a fridge to match the other appliances. This fridge is great, large capacity and good features. The wide fridge drawer is great for platters or for kids snacks and it comes with a set of movable (or removable for large platters) dividers to help make the most of it. 2 gallons of milk can fit in the right side door on a single shelf, freeing up the rest of the fridge for the rest of your stuff. One of the best features of this fridge is the fast and measured fill. The water from the filter tastes great and it fills your glasses much more quickly than most in the door fridges will. The best feature though is the measured fill mode. Need a cup of water for a recipe? Tell it you want a cup, and press dispense, and it will give you exactly a cup. You can set it to ounces, cups, or liters to meet any recipe or to fill your glasses or water bottles. This feature is something that will spoil you quickly. As far as I know only Whirlpool (KitchenAid is a Whirlpool brand) fridges can do this and it is a highlight feature. Overall we are really pleased with this fridge and would recommend it.

Great Refrigerator!
Posted .I own this refriderater and our family loves it. It's queit and has lots of room it gives you plenty of options to move the shelves to fit your needs. The crisper drawers gives you plenty of extra space for fruits and vegtables or snacks. This refriderater is a real eye popper that will enhance the look of any kitchen.! The lighting system lights up very nicely inside and out. It also lets you choose crushed or cubed ice. The water dispencer has a measured fill system that measures how much water it dispenses in your glass. I also love the fact it is made by Kitchenaid a american company.

Love this Fridge!
Posted .I got this fridge last week and it runs and looks great. I love the fact that you can adjust all shelves(even on the door), so if you have tall items they fit. The water tastes great with the Pur filter system. You can also fit large trays with it being french door or even in the bin under the doors. My only negative is fingerprints on the stainless but get the proper cleaner and they come right off.

Kitchen aid review
Posted .We have had this refrigerator for 8 months now. It is quiet, spacious and well designed. We love the produce drawer and milk storage in the door. If I had to find one small complaint it would be the plastic taste in the ice cubes and water in the door. It seems to be getting better but it is not gone yet. Now that it is summer we can run more water through the reservoir each day and hopefully it will taste better.

Really thought Kitchenaid would be better...
Posted .I purchased $7000 worth of Kitchenaid appliances for our kitchen and this refrigerator was the only real dissapointment. Please be aware that if you have an RO system for your water, your ice cubes will be half the size they should be and fly all over your kitchen every time you try to dispense them. Apparently using an RO system also voids the warranty on the product. Nice to find out after the fact. I guess we are all just supposed to assume these things, because they sure dont tell you when you buy the product. I really thought Kitchenaid would be better than the rest, but apparently they are all the same. Once they have your money, they really dont care anymore.
