Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5This hood gives plenty of head room. It replaced a combination microwave hood and moves air well, with the slide out baffle. Particularly like the auto-on feather when the baffle is slid out into place for cooking.

Very modern Kitchenaid Vent Hood
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendIn our recent Kitchen renovation, we selected this sleek, slim vent hood. It looks fabulous, the lighting it provides for cooking is excellent, and the noise is minimal. When the fan is on the lowest setting, you have to really listen closely to even know that it's running. The only downside is the loss of cabinet space above the vent hood.

Q: QuestionI am replacing a 36 inch microwave. There is exactly 36 inches from left cabinet to right cabinet. The installation guide says it can't be more than 34". Is this possible? Can I use it?

- A:Answer Hello RobertG! Per the Installation Instructions, page 5, https://go.aws/2ZM6tFa, it stated there would need to be a 36" cutout for a 36" model. We hope this helps.
