Kitchenaid is by far the best when it comes to mixers. It takes the work out of making so many recipes. And they last for so many years because of the quality. I bought my first one over 20 years ago and still use it for smaller batches as its a smaller model, and this new one I use for big family recipes...its FANTASTIC!

I have used this mixer on several projects. I have made muffins and bread mostly. This unit is pretty strong. It moans a little on the french bread dough.
The attachments were nice at first but the blade and dough mixer are starting to pit. Not very good for having this only a couple months.
Would i buy this product again.....yes. I wish the attachments were better material.

I really like the item it helps me a lot for whatever recipe i want, specially making bread dough I can double the recipe because it’s huge enough. Actually I already had one before therefore I got 2 now because I’m doing some bread dough for I had a lot of customers ordering some of my different kinds of bread.

Cookies, breads, pasta and ground turkey it does it all. I have been wanting one for 10 years and finally found the one that works best for our family of 8. Love the bigger bowl capacity and motor speeds couldn't ask for a better kitchen aid product!!!

I love everything about the mixer. I even added some decals to jazz it up a little.

I love the mixer it’s everything I’ve wanted, however the photos online are a bit deceiving. As seen in the picture below I thought I would be receiving a white coated flex edge beater with the mixer. However I received a brownish gray coated regular beater. Which is okay but I’ve always loved the white coating in the past. Hoping this new stuff works out well. Also was slightly disappointed that the flex edge beater did not come with it.

A:AnswerLifts are much sturdier. No joint, heavier motor housing, stronger motor all translate to more power and longer life. The lift is less convenient to use than the tilt, but is much more reliable. I've seen thick mixes cause the joint on a lift to wiggle loose, causing the head to wobble back and forth and fail to get an even mix at the edges - not a problem for a lift.
A:AnswerNo. Different bowl sizes need different attachments to get the coverage touching the edges of the bowl. Small attachments for a large bowl won't mix the edges, large attachments for a small bowl will ram into the sides.
A:AnswerThey are coated/painted. Seems to hold up well. However I can say for a fact the previous models weren’t stainless anyway. They always been aluminum like these are, they just weren’t coated. Both versions hold up well, however the coating prevents and corrosion.
