Nicest speakers I've ever owned
I had been considering these speakers for several months to replace my 20+ years old speakers, which still sound nice. However, I needed something with more of a punch and clarity for my home theater experience. Reviews on these speakers were highly positive. The 50% off for Black Friday sweetened the deal and I just had to get them now or never. I picked them up at my local store with some delay but it was understandable for being a holiday. Once home, I connected them to my Yamaha AV receiver in the living room and test for music. I couldn't have been more impressed. The sound was so clear. My wife said she could actually hear each word and the music was just as if listening to it for the first time in HD sound. Seeing my wife's reaction I was going to leave them hooked up in the living room and just buy another pair. My wife said she didn't listen to the living room system often enough and suggested I hook it up to my Denon 7.2 AVS system and 70-in HD TV. I already had high quality speaker wires as recommended by Klipsch. I also had banana plugs which made connection a breeze. Once connected to all of my Magnolia selected surround/center speakers I tested it with several movies on chapters recommended doing a google search. Wow!, Wow! and Wow! The powerful, yet crystal clear sound with no distortion whatsoever just blew me away. On a scene of Star Trek, when the spaceships go into "warp speed" my grandkids and I could feel the power and the sound just traveled through the floor onto our seats, feeling our bodies tremble. It was like a 4D at a theme park. The sound was just as powerful as that experienced at the theaters. There was another chapter of the movie Wall-e recommended for testing. The sound coming out of the tweeters and moving through the surround speakers was breath taking. I also tested them with the "San Andreas (2015) movie and we felt like we were actually having an earthquake. My family and I looked at each other in astonishment. I told my family I now must watch every movie in my collection with these awesome speakers. I cannot imagine anyone being disappointed with these speakers even paying full price. In my humble opinion, these speakers will not disappoint.

Big sound at a great price!
I bought these to replace my ELAC Debut B6. Now those elacs are regarded as excellent bookshelfs in a category of its peers. So ai was afraid I was not going to get that much more benefits from these Klipsch towers. I figured since they are on sale during this black friday, i would try them. BAM! Huge uograde! The horn tweets are crisp and detailed. The midrange woofer are very pronounced and I have them set to 40hz off a denon x2200z. I get no distortion. Movies sounds great and music even better. I do about 50/50. They say these are not for everyone, and I agree. Listen to them long and hard. For me they match my taste. The matching r12sw sub however was not for me. That review is on the sub page too. I now have them paired with an SVS sub and it sounds incredible. If you have the space and the wife approves, get them.

Klipsch 28F Speakers
For an entry level pair of Klipsch speakers these babies ROCK my house and worth the price. I was amazed to know that they come with a 5 year Klipsch warranty too. I have installed them as my front firing speakers in a 7.1 surround system and paired with a 10" subwoofer they hit the lows real nice while at the same time producing a nice clean sound with the mids and tweeters. Totally impressed with the ability to drive some power into these speakers when I want to. I'm not a fan of the bronze color lettering or logo but it looks great if one keeps the grills off.
