Q: Is this subwoofer manufactured in China?
A: They are made in Indiana.
A: Amplifier wattage ratings are typically expressed in RMS (continuous) and peak (momentary) nomenclature. In this case, the amplifier is capable of delivering 200 watts continuously and 400 watts for an instant, such as when program material requires a very high output level to be reached - think explosion or a super low frequency bass cello note.
Q: What is the difference between this sub and the r12sw?
A: THEY ARE THE SAME. They just made them look a whole lot better. Look at specs carefully and see for your self. Delivers 400W peak power (200W continuous) for robust audio. and has nothing to do with louder. They are both 116db
A: Any type of RCA style subwoofer cable will work. Connect it from your receiver’s output to the LFE input on the subwoofer and you’re in business.
Q: can i convert this into wireless using klipsch WA transmitter?
A: The WA-2 transmitter is specifically set up for Klipsh subwoofers with a WA port. Unfortunately this particular model does not have one. I just checked. There are, however, a few products out there that are universal. Google wireless subwoofer kit and several options will pop up. The Dynasty ProAudio WSA-5TR 5.8G Wireless Audio Transmitter/Receiver Adaptor for Powered Subwoofer and Active Speakers appears to be a good altenative.
Q: How many ohms ? Would this would be compatible for my onkyo TX-NR656
A: Ohm rating doesn't matter since it has an internal amp and you hook it up by your AVR's subwoofer output. It will work fine.
A: I have the 12” front firing klipsch sub I use it on my outside deck it sounds great. The trick is to put the porthole about 4 inches away from a wall or a solid background the base reflects off that and it sounds great they do sound better inside the home but it definitely works on the deck
A: yes I would recommend this sub woofer great bass easy to hookup. I think I'm going to buy another one. Great bass even with the sound not all the way up

WOW!!! Lucky me, my wife bought this for my birthday and man now my house shakes with the amount of bass that this thing puts out! This was the year that I decided to replace all of the speakers in my surround sound system since most of them were about 20 years old. I replaced a Polk 12" sub for this one and man this sub is far superior than the Polk that I had. If you're looking for an awesome sub with some ground shaking bass then this is the sub for you!

Bought 2x of these during black friday to replace a malfunctioning Infinity sub and also add more oof to the home theater. Not disappointing. These rumble the house. Tested with John Wick 4k bluray and an assortment of xbox one titles. I'm impressed. It feels as though you're in those moments. Such clarity in the bass (tuned on Pioneer Elite SC-LX701 receiver) and not flabby sounding. Very precise lows and distinct sounding bass all around. Would highly recommend this, or these if you plan a .2 setup.

Initially the bass was terrible and it didn't sound very good but even just an hour into it it smoothed out and was beginning to sound great. I'm now a few hours in and it is getting better and better. To be honest it's almost too big and shakes my media room in my new house. But on the other hand that is the type of bass I wanted.
