Can’t go wrong with Dreamworks!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: The passive 3D (this title has medium-high level) on an OLED & 7.1 via DTS Neaural X adds more fun factor experience on a calibrated 11.2 (7.2.4) system! It had a handful amount of funny moments. Digital copy. Dreamworks didn’t disappoint!! Cons: No slipcover

Great movie
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wasn't entirely sure how I would feel about this movie, but since I had a free promo code, I figured I would get it! I am not typically a fan of Jack Black but I had heard good things about this movie. This movie was hilarious! As I said before, I had no expectations for it, so that most likely helped. It was a great comedy mixed with emotion and action, playing to all ages. Jack Black is the perfect actor to play Po. Po is a character that everyone can relate to as he laughs at himself, has misadventures, and dreams of what he wants. The character is actually developed very well, something that cannot be said about a lot of movies. I also really like the other two main characters played by Dustin Hoffman and Ian McShane as the other good and bad guys. I really like the landscaping and visual effects of this movie. The settings in China are so beautiful with the mountains and bodies of water.

A Great Animated Sequel and then 'almost some'
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you like to fill your movie treasure chest with animated gems, then Kung Fu Panda 2 is more than just a worthy film to include. This edition with the new character box art is worthy to own despite some supplement flaws. To avoid spoilers, this outstanding sequel follows the original as Po uncovers more of his origin while he and the Furious Five face a new ruthless villain, Lord Shen. Now other than the movie being more emotionally and in a story aspect expansive from the first film, the movie looks flawless and beautiful in stunning HD as its culmination of 3-D, 2-D animation and scenes with Chinese Shadow puppetry will illuminate your television with artistry and spectacle. Sound quality is exceptionally incredible from the BluRay format so your ears will be pleased. Now, you'll get both DVD and BluRay within this pack, but since it is included with a Digital Copy, you will be somewhat disappointed. Prior to this, an iTunes copy was in the previous edition so instead of an HD iTunes copy to update the combo pack, buyers will receive a Ultraviolet redemption code. Another minor inconvenience, the DVD is also a digital copy disc for iTunes so don't try to redeem it from the code included, its not compatible. Regardless, Kung Fu Panda 2 in this new copy is still highly recommendable to own. Fans of the series and casual movie consumers will be enthralled by the BluRay format and its supplements.

A Striking & Hilarious Original Animated Effort
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Jack Black is perfect for this type of thing-he brought his trademark comedic voice as well as the influence of his persona being imposed on Po-it meshed to make a character that was not only believable and likeable, but one that we could watch all day-the story hit all the basic points of an animated message film, but it was the characters of Po and Master Shifu, who was also fully inhibited by Dustin Hoffman, that made this movie so much fun to watch. The other characters didnt seem to be worth any time, especially the Furious Five, with such an impressive cast, not much was given for them to say or do, their action scenes were amazing to watch on the big screen though and all in all a great animated film.

Great entertainment that's even better in 3D!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As always, DreamWorks continues to produce great entertainment for the whole family. Kung Fu Panda is funny, brilliant and looks even more stunning in 3D! 3D movies are a big hit in our home and it's a shame that those of us who supported this tech are getting less and less material available to us. If you have and like 3D…continue to support it as long as you can…I've heard its huge overseas, so buying region free imports is still better than nothing. God Bless!

One Word ... Jack Black
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Initially, when I heard about this film, I didn't think that I would enjoy it as much as I did. It has all of the humor that you would expect from a Dreamworks movie as well as the action that you would need to satisfy the adults going to the film. While it is geared towards little kids, it has a great message about living up to your expectations and not letting fear stand in the way of who you can become. You will not be disappointed in viewing this movie multiple times.

Believe in your dreams and never give up!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I hate to be one of those who remark on a film's "message," but I thought Po's adventure and journey of discovery showed how its important to believe in yourself and not give up on your dreams. And like I said, the message was SHOWN and not PREACHED over and over like some mindless animated features do when the writers are lazy and the producers underestimate the intelligence and maturity of the viewing audience. Great movie and hilarious. Buckets of great extras too!

Great movie for the family
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wonderful movie for the family to enjoy. A story of a panda who realizes he is more than what he believes. He is chosen. He learns martial arts and winds up working with a team that really doesn't want him around. His teacher doesn't want him around. Poe is a wonderful character. It's worth watching many times over. The story: A bear, the search for the chosen one. A teacher learning a new way to help a student. The final battle.
