Entertaining movie
||Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. Finally got around to seeing this with this release. I wish I would have seen it when I was younger, I probably would have enjoyed it more. I still enjoyed it however and thought it was a pretty cool movie. It does look dated but the PQ looks great on 4K. The packaging is excellent.

Fantastic Fantasy
||Posted .Despite David Bowie's tight pants, I wanted my kid to enjoy some great work by Jim Henson and some fun music in a movie that stresses never giving up and relying on your friends.

Awesome on many levels
||Posted .We purchased this specifically to watch with our 5 yr. old grandson. He watched it and loved it. SO much to love: Bowie's performance, great music, Jim Henson's creations.

Incredible Film, Lovely Collector's Piece
||Posted .Owned for 3 months when reviewed.I received this item for Christmas and loved it! I've always loved anything from Jim Henson, and Labyrinth is no different. When you remove the plastic sleeve with Sarah and Jareth on it, it reveals a faux suede (I think that's the best way to describe it) DVD jacket that looks like Sarah's Labyrinth book. The artwork and the booklet inside are gorgeous! I will say that I was disappointed to find out that the 4k HD Blu-Ray wasn't compatible with my regular Blu-Ray player. I will completely admit that is a user error. Luckily, the set comes with an additional Blu-Ray and a digital copy. Great purchase for any Jim Henson/David Bowie fan, but don't forget that the 4K Blu-Ray is not compatible with standard Blu-Ray players.

Excellent new release of a classic!
||Posted .Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This movie was one of my favorites when I was young, and I still have my VHS copy. I never got around to upgrading to Blu-ray, and when I saw this was coming to 4K, I just had to have it! The faux leather/suede cover (I'm not sure which) is really great, but make sure you don't lose the slipcover! The discs have great artwork, which isn't always common on 4K releases, and the artbook is a nice addition. The visuals and audio are excellent. David Bowie was such an amazing singer, even when he had to wear very tight pants, LOL.

One of my favorite movies.
||Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.I love this movie. When I’m feeling emotional I will play this movie. I can’t believe that I first saw it 35 yrs ago. It’s still as great as it was 35yrs ago. The 4k movie and my 4k tv make it even more wonderful
