Q: Can it vent to the outside? The specifications show that it is only recirculating.
A: The unit has a fan on the top that can be adjusted to vent to the outside. The unit comes with the vent set to recirculating. When installed yesterday, the tech was able to simply flip the fan to emit externally through my wall vent. You can see the vent on the top of the unit. A couple of screws to loosen, flip the fan, and you're all set. For me, I already had the external vent set up in the wall. Hope that helps.
Q: Can you use the microwave and the timer at the same time?
A: Yes, but I would stay away from this model. We're already getting the door replaced after 4 months of use. Air fry mode is absolutely horrible. It takes 2-3 times as long as a regular air fryer.
Q: Is this both a true microwave and true air fryer?
A: Yes it is a microwave, air fryer, and also has a bake/convection mode. The microwave and bake/convection modes are awesome and heat items up really quickly. Airfryer is so so- takes a really long time, I don't feel like things get as crispy my countertop InstantPot Air Fryer.
A: Yea it has a fan and can vent to outside as that is our setup. The fan can also come on automatically when the stovetop is in use if you set it up in the app.
A: Yes !! Love it
A: N0, no way to do that, that is a big issue I have with this unit, not impressed with this microwave in any shape or form, my 25-year-old convection made this one look like a joke. Still worked just thought I would get a new one. Gave that one to my daughter she is still using it. Mine was a bad install after they finally got somebody to show up, finally gave up tired of no call no show installers, Best Buy doesn't seem to care about people's situations, they will tell you they're sorry for your bad experience, a lot of good that does. I also am a total Tech member, for what good that did me. Would not recommend anybody to buy this unit, user unfriendly as far as I am concerned. Scanning barcodes on products show the microwave will set itself up to cook product is a joke, always says things are not listed. Wi-Fi is a joke, too many buttons to be pushing to get what you want, if you have any low light you can't read the buttons, yeah doesn't have an air Fry Basket doesn't air fry well at all. If I could have got this installed properly in a reasonable time, and was able to start really using it, I'm pretty sure I would have taken it back, disappointment is just scraping the surface. Still not installed properly, whines with the fan on, not much of a manual sent with it, no type of cookbook of any sort. Hope this helped, if it's still under warranty, I believe to yourself a favor and take it back, look at KitchenAid or something else.
Q: Can you remove the rotating turntable for baking a 9x13 dish?
A: If you’re using the convection-only mode, you shouldn’t need to use a turntable, since the function of forced-air convection is to blow the heated air around to make heating and cooking more even, and the function of a turntable when using the microwave-only mode is to turn the food so the microwaves will more evenly hit the food. So they both end up doing the same thing. 9X13 will fit nicely into the chamber, but you have to remove the glass turntable. ^Danee

Coming from a GE Profile microwave and this new one is a solid product (hoping the touch buttons don't stop functioning over time, but so far, so good!). I selected this LG model because it fit the exact dimensions of my previous microwave that fizzled on me and I didn't want to have any issues with my backsplash while replacing. All of the extra functionality (convection, air fry, etc) didn't hurt either! First time I've gotten so many compliments on the look of a home appliance alone! lol Also paid for installation through Best Buy and the service team was super fast, kind, and professional. Highly recommend :)

After only having it a week, we have used it quite a lot. We have used it for reheating, baking, roasting and more. The reason we bought this appliance is its versatility. Microwave, convection oven and air fryer in one. We have baked a cake with the convection oven, roasted a chicken with the air-fryer, cooked vegetables and more with the microwave. Much much better than our microwave only unit we had before. With Christmas coming, having this oven will make life so much easier. Operation is really easy to learn, the clean minimalist design fits into our kitchen beautifully, and the versatility allows us to free up counter space of other appliances we no longer need. We give the appliance 5 stars, but the installation was a bit sketchy. We are finding parts not used, screws falling out from behind the unit and questionable mounting.

So far the microwave functions are easy to use and it is quiet in operation. We have not tried the convection features yet. It's clean appearance declutters the kitchen in a nice way. Takes away some of the feeling of the busyness and fretfulness of life. Nice calm element in our kitchen.
