Our old dishwasher was starting to fall apart. We always had to pre-rinse the dishes with it as well. We needed a new one and was wanting a white unit. We found this model and white was an option but not in our area or even in the states around us. We considered other brands but after seeing how adjustable the baskets were we couldn't see going any other way. We ended up with the stainless unit. We had it delivered but decided to install ourselves.
It installs no different than any other dishwasher though you have to follow the templates for locating the supply and drain lines because of the lower tube so we ended up having to drill a new hole in the cabinet to feed the lines through. Not a big deal. Setup of the leveler feet was nice, the adjustment to the rear feet are made from the front of the machine so there is no reaching under the unit to adjust the feet properly.
We have only run the unit a few times now. The unit is very quite, especially compared to our old one. And it was a quite one when we bought it. Dishes have come out clean though one piece of Tupperware that had spaghetti sauce in it didn't have all of oils removed from it. The dishes have been as dry as how our old unit performed. Tops of cups wet, some Tupperware wet, the norm as far as I am concerned.
The biggest thing that drew us to the unit was how adjustable the baskets are. The entire lower basket's tines will lay down. They are split in half so one side can lay down and the individual half rows are all independent. The upper basket has four rows that are adjustable as well. They aren't as convenient as the bottom but we will keep working with it. We removed the stem ware holders as they constricted the space available to bigger glasses. The upper basket has a raised and lowered position depending on if you need more clearance in the upper or lower basket areas. Also the silverware basket can be split into three separate pieces if you need to maneuver them around. In the unit that we bought there is an upper tray for silverware and bigger cooking utensils which we found to be very handy.
So far I have absolutely no complaints. I will update the review if i find anything different as it comes up. Hope this helps and good luck.

We had been in the market for a new dishwasher for over 6/months. We visited multiple stores in person and on-line, belong to Consumer Reports and frequently visit Cnet for customer and professional reviews. Have had an LG Washer & Dryer for over 5/years with zero issues! We were looking for a stainless steel look with digital and touch buttons on the outside of the dishwasher (what we like..). Not the highest rated product, but also not the most expensive. We found this product to be extremely durable, energy efficient, quite and a cleaning machine. I would definitely recommend this product. The Smart Diagnosis using your phone is a great feature!

This stainless steel dishwasher adds to my quality of life in several ways. It cleans the dishes very quietly and the interior is blindingly shiny when it's finished washing the dishes. The exterior door needs regular shining with Windex as the fingerprints are noticeable on the brushed stainless steel. Nonetheless, this dishwasher lives up to its name of LG (Life's Good).

While this dishwasher has many features, so do many others. I'm not sure the price tag is warranted because it really doesn't do much more than any other. It's quiet, but no quieter than any other 48 dbl dishwasher. I got it on sale, and I bought it purely for the 3rd rack. I like that I can put long spoons up there. It's nice that you can raise and lower the racks and if you were so inclined you could wash just the top or just the bottom or each on a different cycle but at the same time. I don't know who does that, but you could if you wanted to. These are the kind of features that you pay for, but hardly anyone uses. LOL What I don't like is that while you can put the little spikes in the rack up and down to make more room, I don't feel I can get as many dishes in as I could in my old dishwasher, no matter how I configure it. I guess I'll keep playing with it. I also can't get the glasses to stand up in any of the upper rack rows except one because of the way the little spikes are. It's odd. Must take some engineer to figure it out. It's a good dishwasher after a month. Oh, yeah, it takes 2 1/2 hours to wash a normal cycle.

Got this dishwasher for my mother for Christmas. She's typically someone who's resistant to change but she seems to be glad for the purchase. It is extremely quiet and very adjustable inside.

so far this unit is great. at the 629 I paid for it I feel like we got a very good deal. We love the adjustable racks and the top utensil rack. it's very quiet and the buttons are pretty easy to navigate. Our only issue has been that it smells like a light burning plastic while running. I haven't bought any new appliances in a very long time so not sure if that's a common thing or not but it does seem to be fading the more we run it. I installed it myself with no problems but I'm a pretty strong guy. This unit is heavier than the old one and doesn't have wheels on the bottom so those not interested in lifting should probably get assistance.

After having a GE we decided to upgrade. Gets the dishes clean every time and is so very quiet you have to put your ear to it. Even though it is on a higher price tier ($800) it is worth every penny. The wife is soooooo happy.
