The phone is a little heavy but it is compact and has a keyboard. The end button is easy to hit when retrieving the phone from your back pocket to answer a call. The alarm is a one-timer--not a daily. Sound quality not the best.

My wife and I got this phone for our 12-year old son for Christmas. He is involved in more extracurricular activities now, and we wanted a good, easy-to-use phone that he could call and text us with. It was easy to set up - I had it completed in about 15 minutes, and he had the primary features figured out in minutes. We did not get the data plan with it, but it does have some nice bells and whistles with it - apps, messaging, camera, email - if you're looking for those things. Texting is made simpler with the slide out keyboard. Overall, it makes for a nice entry-level phone, has nice added features, and it's made by a quality manufacturer in LG.

I have really enjoyed this little phone. I can carry it in a case on my hip when I'm working outside. Easy to type on too. It is not a smart phone, but has features of a smart phone. You can't broaden the picture to see it better, but for a simple phone, it has been great.

Bought this phone to replace old flip phone. Slide-out qwerty keyboard is easy to use, has handy symbols on keyboard. Touch screen has good response (except the "cancel" option when I accidentally hit the Symbol button). Has message "chaining" (able to see message I am replying to) and choice of font sizes, larger text is easier to read. Screen locking feature works well, prevents unintended calls. It's a little pricey when purchased as "no contract" phone. Battery life is disappointing, not as good as advertised. Have to charge battery about every 3 days if phone is left on 24 hours/day with minimal text messages (about 200/month). Have not used photos, emails or internet yet. Has many features I have not tried yet or subscribed to. Volume is not quite as good as old flip phone. This phone has a plug-in spot for earphones and is bluetooth capable but I haven't used those. (For the price, LG should include ear buds.) Good performance for reason I bought it (slide-out keyboard for texts and phone calls)

If high quality, high resolution pictures aren't a priority, consider this phone. Personally, I like the keyboard over a flat screen for texting, so that makes this phone a bonus for me. Feels more solidly constructed than some other brands, too.

I text a lot and this phone keeps up with me just fine. It hasn't froze or had any lag. The battery life is pretty good also. Seems to last 2 days or so with a decent amount of messaging. It only holds about 600-700 messages but for me that's of. It doesnt' bother me to erase messages frequently. Phone calls seem to go well also. Nothing dropped or difficult to hear. By far my favorite feature is the lock. I was really bad for 'butt dialing' and that featured has kept me from having to explain overheard conversations. No complaints! Camera works well inside too vs my last phone which you really needed alot of light. All phones can be improved on but this one is good for me.
