This phone is intuitive.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The phone is a little heavy but it is compact and has a keyboard. The end button is easy to hit when retrieving the phone from your back pocket to answer a call. The alarm is a one-timer--not a daily. Sound quality not the best.

Solid Overall Phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife and I got this phone for our 12-year old son for Christmas. He is involved in more extracurricular activities now, and we wanted a good, easy-to-use phone that he could call and text us with. It was easy to set up - I had it completed in about 15 minutes, and he had the primary features figured out in minutes. We did not get the data plan with it, but it does have some nice bells and whistles with it - apps, messaging, camera, email - if you're looking for those things. Texting is made simpler with the slide out keyboard. Overall, it makes for a nice entry-level phone, has nice added features, and it's made by a quality manufacturer in LG.

Great little phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have really enjoyed this little phone. I can carry it in a case on my hip when I'm working outside. Easy to type on too. It is not a smart phone, but has features of a smart phone. You can't broaden the picture to see it better, but for a simple phone, it has been great.

good choice for text messages
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this phone to replace old flip phone. Slide-out qwerty keyboard is easy to use, has handy symbols on keyboard. Touch screen has good response (except the "cancel" option when I accidentally hit the Symbol button). Has message "chaining" (able to see message I am replying to) and choice of font sizes, larger text is easier to read. Screen locking feature works well, prevents unintended calls. It's a little pricey when purchased as "no contract" phone. Battery life is disappointing, not as good as advertised. Have to charge battery about every 3 days if phone is left on 24 hours/day with minimal text messages (about 200/month). Have not used photos, emails or internet yet. Has many features I have not tried yet or subscribed to. Volume is not quite as good as old flip phone. This phone has a plug-in spot for earphones and is bluetooth capable but I haven't used those. (For the price, LG should include ear buds.) Good performance for reason I bought it (slide-out keyboard for texts and phone calls)

Pretty good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If high quality, high resolution pictures aren't a priority, consider this phone. Personally, I like the keyboard over a flat screen for texting, so that makes this phone a bonus for me. Feels more solidly constructed than some other brands, too.

Great basic phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I text a lot and this phone keeps up with me just fine. It hasn't froze or had any lag. The battery life is pretty good also. Seems to last 2 days or so with a decent amount of messaging. It only holds about 600-700 messages but for me that's of. It doesnt' bother me to erase messages frequently. Phone calls seem to go well also. Nothing dropped or difficult to hear. By far my favorite feature is the lock. I was really bad for 'butt dialing' and that featured has kept me from having to explain overheard conversations. No complaints! Camera works well inside too vs my last phone which you really needed alot of light. All phones can be improved on but this one is good for me.

Decent starter phone for a kid
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought for my 12-year old as a first phone. Cost was $0 when adding to existing plan. Not much to it, but gets the job done for calls and texts. Very good battery life. Decent keyboard. Wish it has the ability to lock the phone with a passcode after the screen has gone to sleep, but you can't. It does have a passcode feature, but it only locks after the phone has been powered off and back on.

Good phone for middle school age child
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unlike today's smartphones, this is more compact. As such, the screen and buttons are smaller than what I am used to. But for my kid(s), the size is perfect. Battery life is decent, however my kid(s) are not using the phone constantly throughout the day. We have the basic phone plan. The phone is primarily used for "keeping in touch" with parents before/after school. No texting allowed. My kids have friends. They communicate with friends face to face. Like many kids did generations ago. This phone is used as a cellphone only. Wow, what a concept...

Best option for a non smart phone.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am one of the few hold outs and do not want a smart phone. This phone has a really nice touch screen (that I didn't have to have) and the text features are nice also. When I'm on a texting frenzy, some friends complain that messages may come in out of order. But that doesn't happen very often. I send a lot of long texts and I have to send them in more than one text because a text bubble only holds so many words. Two other family members of mine got non smart phones too and this one is by far the best. It has a great camera and holds tons of contacts. It's an easy phone to figure out.

Good quality non-smart phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It seems that with todays ever changing technology it is getting harder and harder to find a good quality non-smart phone.I bought 2 of these phones one for my daughter and one for my wife. The phone seems to share the same qualities in the good and bad category, that being the compact size is nice and easily tucks into a pocket or purse very easily. The compact size also can be a little to hard to hold on to at times. All in all this is good quality phone from LG.

My wife luv's it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife is not an iPhone, Samsung person she wants something that is easy for her to text with. She did not want a data plan and she wanted a freebie. Well Bestbuy delivered with this phone for her. She said she loves it tremendously and has no complaints. Here is what I observed: If you are a person who is not into tech toys and want a phone to make calls, take pics and text without a data plan then this is for you. But if you want something with more bells and whistle then iphone or samsung.

Great phone for "dumb"phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife has been using this for over a month, and she loves it. She texts quite a bit, and the keyboard is really nice. No issues with signal strength or call quality, and the battery life has been great. Highly recommended for some who does not want a smartphone and an expensive data plan.

Great phone for our teenage son
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We were looking for a phone that would be great for our teenage son that wouldn't require a data plan but that was also aesthetically interesting and sleek. We liked the sliding feature to access the keyboard as well that it was touchscreen capable. The color was appealing as well.

Great phone for beginners or children
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We were looking for a cheap, basic phone for our 10 year old son so that he could have a phone for emergencies. I didn't want to have to pay for data and with this phone you don't have to. He can learn to be responsible with this phone before stepping up to a smart phone. This phone looks good, and works pretty well, although the software is kind of weird if you are used to smart phones, but for a beginner or child it's perfect. It has a built in, slide out keyboard for texting and actually has pretty decent basic apps and camera.
