The phone's battery life and texting capabilities also receive positive feedback. While some users noted the camera quality could be improved and that the phone is somewhat heavy, the overall sentiment is quite favorable.

It was difficult to navigate for a novice user. Takes a while get use to it. However, the sliding keyboard is nice.

This phone is great for people who need a basic phone for talking and texting. It is not very customizable, and many settings you wish were there just aren't. (Like where you want the clock on your home screen - you can't move it.) Overall, its good for the price, but I wouldn't get this phone if you plan on using the navigation or web browser features.

Bought this as first phone for teen daughter out of necessity. She and we have been very pleased. Easy to learn how to use, easy to care for. Nice way to introduce her to cell phone use.

I do not like the phone, but I will tolerate it because I wanted the free phone without a data plan. The sound quality on phone calls is awful. The texting is difficult and old-fashioned with the blackberry-type keyboard.

I generally use my phone for calls, texting and as a organizer. I had a Samsung Flight II, and needed an upgrade and this was one of the few that wasn't a smart phone. I've been VERY pleased with the purchase.
TEXTING
It can display your messages by either conversation strings or traditionally. You can switch back and forth between either one, and it is quite easy to navigate through the settings to do group messages, forwarding, and other settings. It also makes a "quick list" of most frequent contacts when you are ready to send and make it easy to search the address book to add more. The keys are on the small side, especially compared to the Flight II, but still big enough that I'm not constantly pressing the wrong key by accident.
Cons: If in conversation, you can only have 160 characters in a message unless you create a new conversation.
CAMERA
Meh, it's not bad but it's not great either. It does have a lot of options that can help with lighting and minor editing...but I'll keep to my camera.
AUDIO
Sound is easy to hear and speaker phone is nice and clear. Volume does have to be managed when going between normal phone speakers and speaker phone. Music can be played and the speakers play a fairly clear mp3.
PERSONALIZATION
You can slide across the touch display with 3 screen. One is favorite contacts, one is widgets (so your alarm, time zones), and one is shortcuts. Each screen has the same wallpaper. There is a degree of restriction to what you can put on your widgets and shortcuts that can be slightly annoying, but nothing worth bugging out about. You can set a ringtone, image, and group for each contact HOWEVER, you can't set an individual SMS tone for each contact. I need that during work hours, so it can be frustrating not knowing if it is an important update or a friend forgetting I'm on the clock.
Cons: There is no Profile settings. Either your sound is on or it's off. There isn't a quick option to preset for friends to be forwarded to voicemail, or to set different ring & vibration settings. The closest thing you can get to a quick setting for you calls is the side volume button brings up a screen where you can pick vibration or mute.
NAVIGATION
It's not bad, but it's not the greatest. It took a bit longer to get used to how everything is organized and laid out. There are a few times where the placement seems a bit backwards to me. Nothing bad enough that it makes me dislike the phone, just enough to cause minor grumbles every now and then. The touch screen hasn't given me many problems while getting through the phone. It is actually much better than the last touchscreen I owned! The lock button/power is on the top of the phone so there is less "accidentally" turning on the screen from your pocket.
BATTERY
If I don't use it to talk, it can last a a full day and then some with heavy texting. Talk time...not so much. It does charge fairly quickly and I've not had any issue in that regard.
DURABILITY
Thankfully I don't have much problem in this department generally. I've dropped it from table height a few times. The worse that has happened (so far) is the back cover falls off. Screen hasn't been majorly scratched while sitting in my pocket or purse. The back casing feels made out of inexpensive materials, but the phone itself seems pretty durable.
RANDOM NOTES
Extra memory slot is great to have
No "join callers" option to network calls on hold (unless I just haven't found it)
Multitasking on a call to text or go to address book

I chose this phone for texting ease. After a few weeks and many attempts at adjusting settings I am now ready to trade this phone in. The screen settings are awkward at best. The end call button is right where your chin meets the phone...guess what happens?! Is you need to access the number pad while on a call " press one for customer service" you must slide the screen lock up, press "number pad" and then you get your numbers. The phone is already cracked along the case. The worst action this phone sees is the inside of my purse.
