This is the best space heater I've ever had. The thermostat works very well in both Hi and Low power settings. The fan makes a little noise, but it not objectionable. We use it in a fairly large living room, but only use it to heat the area near the seating area. It is used to add supplemental heat so we can keep the furnace at a lower setting for the whole house.

Great heater, we use it to keep our two car garage warm during these cold winter days!

I bought this to heat my greenhouse. After receiving it and reading the warnings I found out it has to be plugged directly into an outlet and an extension cord could not be used. I returned it because I could not use it for my greenhouse
