      I read other reviews before buying this and some people complained about the comfort – I have worn these for hours playing Battlefield 3 with no discomfort – so I don’t think that’s much of an issue. I have three minor complaints that prevented me from giving these 5 stars. First, the inline volume controls should be recessed, they are not, making it much too easy to accidently change the volume during a game, which causes my game to switch from full-screen mode to windows mode and I lose focus – which can be disastrous in the heat of a battle. Second, the wires are a bit light – not great quality. Third, the microphone only goes up and down – there’s no adjustment for distance from your mouth – I’ve had other headsets that had a fully adjustable microphone arm and I got spoiled by that. Other than that, they’re pretty good for the price. The sounds quality is good – no complaints about that. As I said before, the comfort is good enough. The frame seems sturdy enough. I like the sealed foam ear cushions – I’ve had some really cheap headsets in the past where the foam was exposed and would eventually disintegrate and leave tiny blank pieces all over the place. These are light – which is nice – adds to the comfort. A good buy for the price – I got them on sale - $20 off (I think) plus I had a $20 rebate coupon so my net amount was like $11 with tax (I think shipping was free).

      Good value but mic lacks adjustment options

      I purchased these for home use, when my existing home use headset broke after 5 years. I wasn't able to test in anyway prior to purchase (these were one of the few pairs in the store), and when I returned home I found these limited in adjustability. Previous headsets have allowed me to use with only one ear covered so as to be able to participate in calls and have 'one ear' to my local env ( a practice I also use at the office). However, due to the compact size of the microphone and lack of ability to adjust this, it is difficult and uncomfortable to achieve the same with this headset (using with only one ear covered). I have a set of Plantronics C320 which I recently purchased for work at the office, and for a similar price these are much more comfortable/adjustable. In hindsight I should have either tested the earphones before buying, or purchased another Plantronics. The good - value, cheap headset, which works well with both ears covered. The Bad - Compact microphone lacks adjustment options If you will use a headset for extensive use, then try the set before purchasing for comfort and adjustability. Or buy the Plantronics (IMO) instead.

      The cord keeps it from being perfect

      I purchased this headset for my work from home position with Teletech. Although it was not on their list of approved headsets it works fine with their software and passed all their tests. The headset is comfortable enough to wear for an eight hour shift. The noise cancelling microphone works well in my tests--I wore the headset for several hours while not working, with the recorder running, then listened to the resulting recording. My office door was open. The headset did not pick up the television running in a different room, a lawn mower running close to my window. It just barely pick up my husband's voice when he came into my office and talked to me or the dog barking in a different room. It did pick up the cats who decided to have a raucous discussion under my desk, but not the romping around that let up to it. My only complaint is the kinking of the cord. About a third of the length of the cord because it kinks and wraps around itself. The loss of length isn't a problem in itself. However I am concerned that the severe kinks will result in breaks or shorts in the wires and will shorten the life of the headset. So I'm marking that I wouldn't recommend this product with an asterisk. I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend this to a friend, but I wouldn't try to talk anyone out of it either, especially if increased cord quality added a great deal to the price.

      Won't work on Windows 7, no drivers no support


      I needed this headset quickly for some computer based training. Instead of being Plug and Play, as promised, I could not get the headset to work on Windows 7. Upon checking the Logitech forums I found many others had this problem too. Logitech states that "No drivers are required". Therefore no driver is available for this product on their website. Nor is there any support available. Only the forum where lots of others gripe about this same problem. When I plug in the headset, Windows tells me that the driver for the device was not successfully installed. When I go to troubleshooting, it goes out to Windows Update and cannot find a driver for the device. I took the headset back to Best Buy and the Geek Squad guy couldn't get it to work either. I ended up returning the H390 and getting a Plantronics Audio 355 instead. It works great. Wasted about 3 hours on the h390! This is sad to me because I have always had high regard for Logitech products. Now I have a sense that I can no longer count on them. People in the Logitech forum have been complaining of this problem since 2013 and Logitech still won't address the problem. Sad.

      Not for long term use...


      I went through 3 of these headsets, so as a tip, do not purchase these w/o the Best Buy warranty!!! They work good for the job/task at hand. But me personally, I work in a call center environment, taking 30+ calls an hour, 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. Everything works flawlessly w/this model headset, but after consistent, normal use, one of the earpieces would start crackling/breaking up, so I can no longer here my customer, then within 1-2 months, the other earpiece goes out. I just returned my 3rd/final Logitech H390 headset, I was pleasantly credited the return which I used to pay for the Logitech wireless H800 headset. Also the cord that comes w/this headset, is too long in my opinion. If you plan on using this headset for 30-40 hrs a week like I have to, it'll only survive/last aprox. 4-5 months. But if you only need this headset for minor usage, it'll be perfect. Not a bad headset, just lacking in longevity for someone who needs a headset for their JOB lol!

      I purchased the Logitech headphones to be used in the office, for making and receiving calls through my computer (VOIP). My primary reason for selecting this product is due to the fact they were the first model offered utilizing a USB adapter vs. a microphone jack at this price point. They are comfortable, and the speaker/microphone quality is great. They are well-constructed, but not bulky - I hardly even know they are on. The in-line volume and mute controls are quite helpful to moderate different calls or to place someone on a temporary mute without having to fiddle with my computer settings. The obvious draw-back, in my opinion, is the fact that these headphones leave you physically tethered to your computer/source. As I do not work in a large office and have no need to be up and about while on the phone, this was a non-issue for me. A major advantage over the wireless/blue-tooth variety is the price and not having to deal with charging the unit. All in all, a terrific product at an unbeatable price. I recommend these to anyone in-need of two-way headphones.

      Poor durability


      I used these headphones for 2-3 months as I'm an online instructor for a university and need to use the headphones and mic for live web sessions and teaching. Comfort = 3 of out 5. There decently comfortable; however, after about 45 minutes to an hour, they start to hurt your ears. Performance = 4.5 of out 5. For the price, the performance was great. The mic came across clear as well as the receiving sound. Features = 4 out of 5. I really like that you can easily mute the microphone on the cord as well as adjust the volume. Durability = 1 out of 5. Unfortunately these didn't hold up very long at all...only 2-3 months. As I was only using these for teaching university courses at my desk, they were well taken care of and not used by children. When I went to set them down one day, the wired cord fell out of the headpiece. It doesn't appear to be fixable either so now they're trash and useless. I don't recommend you purchase these due to the poor durability. I will try another brand instead.

      After my old Logitech headset broke, I was on a search to find another. This headset was perfect. Great price (less than 30) and great quality. I am not an audiophile. I just wanted a headset that was comfortable, sound was clear, and mic was crisp. This headset satisfied all 3 requirements. I wear glasses, and the head phones do get slightly uncomfortable after an hour or two, but a quick adjustment/massage of the ear, and you are good to go for another hour. Easily adjustable (I have a small head, but it fit me well). One slight complaint, the mic mute works like a charm, but the volume toggle (up and down) that is located on the cord does not work. I am running win 10 and used the drivers that it auto loaded. I could not find other logitech drivers to fix the issue. Not a huge deal (I can adjust the volume via task bar), but it would have been nice to control the volume on the cord. Therefore, I deducted 1 star. All in all, it is a great product.
