The software allows you to create tracks based on audio samples which are provided with the software itself or can be purchased separately. Furthermore, it is possible to work with audio files like mp3, wav etc. and songs you already have in your PC. A: Dear Conchita, Thank you for your interest in our software. Music Maker Live does allow you to mash up, cut up, rearrange audio and add other audio or instruments into a new arrangement. There is also a remix wizard that helps you align the audio so that it may sync up with newer beats, instruments, etc. Please feel free to download the trial off magix.com to get a better feel of the software.

A: Dear Goodmuzik, Thank you for your interest in our Music Maker software. I did a little checking on the Tascam DP32 and I couldn't get exact specifications on what is possible over the USB connection. Yes this device should work with Music Maker if they provide ASIO drivers but it may only have a stereo output over USB. There is not specific templates and Music Maker does not support Multi track real time recording. For multi track recording our Music Studio line may be a better option. I would recommend downloading the trial to see how well this interfaces with your device if possible. Best Regards,
Q: can i use this on my macbook
A: Unfortunately our software is only available at this time for Windows Operating Systems. It is possible in boot camp (dual boot) to have Windows systems installed on a Mac and use our software, just not native on OSX (Mac).
