Massive Audio FX Series FX6 6.5" 2-Way Coaxial Speakers are designed with high-tech sonic performance in mind. Each car speaker has a mounting depth of 2.46". The rugged speakers come equipped with high-powered Y35 strontium ferrite magnets contained in heavy-gauge, powder-coated stamped steel baskets. This ensures sufficient magnet force for high sensitivity and accurate sound reproduction. Speakers feature a 1" high-temperature 100% pure KSV coil that floats on a high-quality cloth spider with polyester fiber and custom fiberglass cones with soft butyl foam surrounds. The result is a sonic balance of quality audio and high volume output. A custom-made tweeter plate with built-in 6dB Linkwitz-Riley crossover connects to a ferrofluid-cooled 20mm inverted aluminum dome tweeter for smoothness and definition. These high-end car speakers also feature a custom-designed pole piece for low distortion and sound quality and fully isolated tinsel leads to eliminate crosstalk. FX6 speakers offer power of 70W RMS, 120W max and 280W peak at 4 Ohm. You can make them your own with the 2-piece custom paintable metal grills.
