This two DVD package is quite entertaining to listen to and watch. Let me start of with the sound. The sound on these music videos is absolutely amazing. Crank up your HD stereo receiver and enjoy. If you have not had a chance to listen to music videos reproduced by epic and in NTSC I would suggest you do, and in no better way than Ozzy Osbourne. Disc 2 gives you a chronological view of his solo career and a better understanding of Ozzy in the past and present. There are many hardships Ozzy experienced on his path to where he is today. This DVD gave me a better look into his professionalism, thus giving me greater respect and appreciation for John Osbourne than I already have. Most music videos and concert footage are recorded in 4:3 aspect ratio but with some corrections on your TV and or DVD player you can enjoy widescreen. Folks with this sound quality on these music videos you are better of watching the videos than listening to cd or streams. You can't go wrong with Ozzy Osbourne, Thank You for releasing this package!

Ozzy fans have been screaming for a video compilation for years. This pretty much covers all the bases plus lots of extra stuff on disc 2. The second disc lets us know there are lots of full length concerts out there in Sharons possession that can be issued at any point. The only missing link is the Shot In The Dark video that is sadly not on this compilation. It my take many years before it sees the light of day again. The song was reportedly written by bassist Phil Soussan before he joined Ozzy's band. Ozzy took a co-writing credit on it and there was some bad blood between Ozzy and Phil so it's been left off as to not to have to offer any royalties on it. Overall this is a very satisfying compilation that will rock your socks off.

Memoirs of a Madman” is a collection of the best songs Osbourne has already released throughout the years, so the album automatically has merit. Osbourne recently won a “Living Legend” award at the Classic Rock Roll of Honour Awards and was inducted into both the UK Music Hall of Fame and The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, all of these being solid indicators that critics recognize his talent. “Memoirs of a Madman” is an extensive reminder as to how he earned that recognition.

I've been wanting to see some of this footage forever and it's great. Obviously, due to the age of some of the early stuff, it's not the best quality, but it's better than I expected. Overall, it's a great set of content and if you're a fan, I definitely recommend picking it up.

I LOVE BLACK SABBATH AND HAVE FOLLOWED OZZY EVER SENSE HE WENT SOLO AND HAVE BOUGHT MOST OF HIS ALBUMS. THIS IS A VERY GOOD REPRESENTATION OF HIS PAST AND PRESENT WORK AS A SOLO ARTIST. WELL WORTH THE BUY IF YOU ARE A OZZY FAN.

It is great to see some randy Rhodes footage as well as some great music videos that MTV does not or will not show no,more, the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is no shot in the dark video
