Better than iPod

The leader in: User interface, Apple copy the user interface of the album art from Microsoft Wireless, may not go online YET but, able to share music with friends without a computer. Syncing. Able to sync to your home wireless network. This means no cables need to download songs to the Zune. Flash, the first company that use flash speed to play your music. It took Apple Charing, Faster charging means more time listen to your music. 90% of the battery level full in about a hour. Apple takes about 2 hrs. WHY WAIT LONGER for the similar battery length

Zune 2nd Gen
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is my first attempt at MP3 technology. I wanted something compact, powerful, and easy to use. Zune met those requirements. It is sleek, very lightweight, and extremely easy to use. Unfortunately the ZuneMarketPlace leaves a LOT to be desired. Adequate music sampling, very view video's, no movies. Why have the feature on the unit, if the material isn't available via their own marketplace? That brings us to product quality. After one week I am now on my second unit. The identical problem with both units. The ear phones simply do not function unless the jack is precisely positioned in the unit. So you have to manipulate the jack, not too far in, not too far out, wiggle it a bit, and do not move it or you will simply loose sound altogether. Mind you I'm not at the gym or jogging. I am sitting in my office with the Zune in my shirt pocket. And I still loose sound. I will be going to Best Buy tomorrow and returning my 2nd (and last) Zune tomorrow. I will not be getting another one. BUYER BEWARE.

Excellent Choice!

I had an ipod which turned out to be a peice of junk and the battery lasted only for 5-10 minutes after a year. Zune was cheaper than an ipod nano and does practically the same thing....pick zune...you wont be disappointed.

Good MP3 player for travel

Very nice, easier than the IPOD and as an introduction to the world of MP3 and Media players, a great place to start. I went with the 4GB since I have my lap top computer and can easily swap songs and vids.

Twin of Ipod

I had seen advertisments of it. it was grat at first but i did not like how videos looked on it. within a week it froze and i could not use it AT ALLLL! it is a waste of many and i did not like that you had to download the software it takes forever!
