Great family movie!
This Power Rangers movie is perfect for any parent born in the late 80s or early 90s and their kids! The movie’s plot is easy to follow along with and my daughter likes the music and the villain. This brings back tons of happy childhood memories for me. I am stoked that BB had this and for a really great price.
Without a doubt, this is pure 90's cheese at it's finest. The jokes, the delivery, it just feels like peak 90's culture. Rewatching it now, I can understand why it's rated so low. The story itself is fairly straight forward. Bad guy wakes up, Rangers go through trials in order to beat him. A little too by the books. Be honest, Power Rangers is all about simple story.
However, I will give credit to the choreography of the fights. Just be aware you have to be willing to overlook some gravity defying moves.
Another bonus I will reward this, is that if you have a BluRay player with DVD upscaling, it really does look very good.
