ModNation Racers Greatest Hits - PlayStation 3

Ok. I know that's saying a lot but I have played all the Mario Kart games including most games that were based off of the karting genre that it originated. Modnation Racers for the PS3, specifically, is the most fun and deepest kart racing game to date. The turbo meter management mechanic works amazingly well. Offensive and defensive moves are unmatched in any other kart racing game that I ever played by far. Side swiping opponents, force fields for defending yourself from getting hit by other racers, and the turbo meter are only some things that I can't imagine not having in a kart racing game from this point on. People are still playing this game online to day and the game is over 5 years old! There's even 4 player split screen and 2 player split screen for online races. If you're in the market for a really fun and addictive kart racing game, this is the best one to buy. It's even better (a lot better) than it's successor, Little Big Planet Karting. That game feels like 2 steps backwards in comparison. And making your own mods, karts, and tracks are super easy and fun to do in Modnation Racers. I can't recommend this game enough. 5 stars.

The kids love to build their own tracks and race on them. Lots of customization of tracks, cars, characters. Great fun!

Good game my nephew loved it. Good game for kids if your looking for a gift for a kid.

If your playing with others the game is great. It's tons of fun

We got the game free as one of the perks frm the 2010 Full Speed Ahead Cruise. My son and I love playing it together, it's good time spent btw us! He's good as all children are!! In all, it's a fun lil' game! My personal preferences are shooter gamez like GTA IV and RDR! It's Fun and I llike it! Thankz Best Buy & United Front for a Gr8 Father & Son Racing Game!!

This is the best kart racing game I have ever played. The customization options are endless and the gameplay is awesome. One of my favorite features is the shield. Now when you're in first place you still have a chance against all the racers behind you getting all the best items/weapons.
