Worth the investment

In my estimation the difference IS clearly visible. I was using a generic HDMI cable for my previous Blu-Ray player. Picture was OK, but not superior. When I connected the Monster ultimate cable the quality of the image was demonstrably better. So, from my perspective, the question is not whether the image will improve, (it will) the decision is whether or not to spend the extra money for that improvement. For me it's a no brainer. Why spend thousands of dollars on a new UHD TV and compromise the picture quality with a $15 cable? It's worth the price... IMHO

These, like all past monster hdmi cables, are to stiff and have little movement around the ends. That said, the 4K cables have cleared up my TVs enough that when people visit they always comment on the picture of a somewhat standard non-4k LG TV. Have not personally tried any other brand HDMI in 4k but these are worth the cost for added clarity.

When I asked the Best Buy employees for a recommendation on an HDMI cable to go with for our Apple TV, DirecTV box and PS4, this is what he recommended. I was hesitant at first because of sticker shock for a cable. But after buying it and using this, it has blown the other cheaper cables I was using away. Perfect for gaming and 4K shows. Only thing is I bought the 5ft, but I went back and purchased 3 12ft cables for the wall mounted TV for when I need to extend the TV out. Now I have the 5ft in the media room for my PS4.

Paired with Our 50" Vizio 4K and it is viewing heaven
