Mortal Kombat: Tournament Edition - Xbox 360

I have been attempting to pre-order this in the store and online but no luck until this afternoon. I am keeping my fingers crossed my order goes through for this version with the arcade stick. After watching all the videos floating around the net I am really excited to get my hands on this game with the arcade stick setup. From everything I have seen and read this should be the best MK since the originals from the 90's when I used to drop hundreds of quarters a month into these machines. If the controls are as crisp as the arcade versions from years past then this should be a must have game for any MK or fighting fan. For those of us who remember the originals and all the controversy that went along with them it will help us relive some great times from our past. I am glad that they didn't censor this one like they did with the MK vs. DC from a few years ago. This franchise made its name with the over the top fatalities and this one looks to take it to the next level. I can't wait for this game to come out and I am looking forward to the online aspect as well to get some good matches on Xbox Live.

I just received mines today, my thoughts were just Wow. This controller is not just a perfect replica of the arcade is beautiful. The mortal kombat team did a great job putting this together. Beautiful cover art and very well detailed. The controller is heavy, and that because it was made with real wood. It also a storage drawer, you slide the gold plated head skull to the right to open the lid. Behind the lid you can see how the buttons were put together through the transparent cover, that also has the word mortal kombat embedded. The controller work as expected my moves performed without a hinch. If your a mortal kombat fan even if your not this is nice to have it will impress your gamers friend. I think I'll be getting a second set. Mortal kombat the game and this controller are made for each other !

I'm waiting to see if Best Buy is going to come through with the claims that if you pre-order it at Best Buy, Then you will receive the Classic Sub-zero Fatality. Best Buy has yet to advertise this, while Amazon is advertising that buyers will get the exclusive costume and fatality of Reptile & Gamestop buyers will get the Scorpion costume and Fatality. The actual Press release, states that Best Buy = Sub-zero; Amazon=Reptile, & Gamestop=Scorpion. Still Waiting for Confirmation from Best-Buy... (don't expect an answer, because Best Buy's website is extremely unorganized when it comes to upcoming products)
