    Disappointing on every level.

From the beginning, Mortal Kombat Vs DC Universe is an attack on all things fans of either franchise have come to love. The story mode features less than stunning graphics in tedious cut scenes that cannot be skipped, and obviously, extremely repetitive fights. Not only are you constantly button mashing whether your a long time MK fan or not, but in each story line you have the same challenger more often than anyone new. No big names came to bat for the title in voice acting and it's apparent. I've heard rumor that this title was only dropped to push the name for DC Universe Online out. If that's the case the franchise would have been better off promoting with Burger King toys. Online fights can be fun but are few and far between and have a God-Awful matchmaking system that makes me wish this would have been an arcade box only game. You could honestly pull a random stranger in to fight easier than using this system. It's worth a quick rent and return, but even in all of my fan-boy zealotry I couldn't force myself to hold onto the title for long enough to gain more than a few achievements and get bored.

This is one of the funnest games i've played in along time.It totally tops all of the previous MK Games. It's basically your normal Mortal Kombat game except with Dc Characters. Also one of the great features is you have a thing called free-Fall kombat where you can punch people while your falling off a cliff. One thing that sucks is the story is just video and fighting,it's not like MK Armageddon when you play Konquest,it's just video then fight someone then video then fight someone.Another good thing is the MK Characters still have all of their Fatalities and the DC Characters have things called Brutalities.Another bad thing is you have to use the D-Pad to Jump and control everything.A Good thing is there's a new thing called Klose Kombat where the Camera comes really Klose to everybody and you can leave bruises on their face that will stay there the rest of the match. So if you have some of the old Mortal Kombat games i say go if for this one. -VaughnD Productions

After hearing all the bummed out Mortal Kombat fans saying how bad this game I was, I decided to try it out myself before agreeing with the majority. This game is actually good! Granted, it's not up there in regards to modern day 3D fighters, but it's still fun. The good: DC characters here are interesting enough that it lures people into buying this game like Yoda and Vader did for Soulcalibur IV. Granted, the pairing up or DC Universe along with Mortal Kombat's universe is sorta sketchy, but it sells. The same elements previous Mortal Kombat games had are in this game: poor (and I mean POOR) storyline. Combos, aerial combos and interactive environments. The bad: if you've played previous Mortal Kombat games, you'll notice that even with the DC Universe lineup, the overall lineup is quite small. Overall, this game is fun despite the rated T rating.

This game may say Mortal Kombat Vs DC Universe but in every way it's still an MK game.Like the other Mortal Kombat titles it has the same combo attacks that you know. The DC characters are a lot more fun to play with instead of the MK characters.Like "The Joker"who can change up his attacks. There is a play mode called"free fall"where if you knock your opponent out of the ring you go flying, and you do different combo moves in the air and crash land on the platform below the original stage.Another one is"Klose Kombat"this happens when a grapple is used. Some of the stages look like they really didn't put to much detail into making. But if you're a comic book fan or MK fan a like, knuckle up and get ready for a fight.

I am not a big "fighting game" person, so for me to even consider this purchase was a out of the norm. I was thoroughly impressed with the graphics and gameplay. I couldn't put it down. The moves in the fights scenes are so real, and fluent( once you learn how to do them). This game might have made me change my attitude towards fighting games. The Story Mode was an awesome option too. You are actually watching a cartoon, sprinkled with fight scenes, that you control. I thought that was well done. I have always been a fan of The Superfriends, and to be able to fight with them was great. Each characters "Supermoves" are great. Mortal Kombat characters just add to the fun! A very fun, entertaining, good game!

This is a great game for a bunch of friends to sit around and play each other, and its good for a single person to play the story mode. The story mode you have to use all of the characters, which makes you a more versatile player. If you have played many games like this before like DOA 4 and Tekken, you know that those games in order to do the really "cool" moves there are very complex button sequences. This game doesnt have that, so its very easy to use everyones super powers and whatnot. If you are into fighting games I would definitely suggest it. Especially if you love MK, and lets not kid ourselves who doesnt love fighting with super heroes.

I don't understand why I was the only one out of the 30 reviews here to complain about story mode. I thought that the story mode was going to be like the other games where you get to walk around and stuff but it was just fighting, and fighting, and fighting, and fighting. The only "story" part was the cut scenes with a dumb storyline. I was thoroughly disappointed by this game. All you can do is fight. No chess, puzzle, or motor kombat. No krypt and basically no story mode. I was mad because I was expecting a walk-around story mode and be able to get trained by the characters and stuff and to have a lot of characters.

First off this is a pretty fun game. There is the old arcade style of past MK games and then there is the Story Mode. You can chose either the DC or MK sides. You basically fight about 5 fights with each character on that side of the story till the end. The gore factor is turned way down and DC Heros do not do fatailities, they do Heroic Brutatilties. The controls are kind of a pain. I have not really played a Mortal Kombat game since MK3. I do not really like the sticks because it is hard to do some of the fluid moves like back back B. Check this game out if you enjoy fighting games.
