A Thin, 11hr Battery, and Performance Powerhouse
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A phenomenal all-around lightweight, long-battery, and performance laptop. Bought at the price of $1,199 on sale; that price is a steal. Decided to buy this laptop after the motherboard on my ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 (2060 & Ryzen 9 4900HS) fried. Pros: 10/10 for performance. Gaming is phenomenal and best targets FPS/quick-action games requiring higher framerates; zero complaints. Comes with a Ryzen 7 5800 and Radeon RX6700M; the benchmarks match my desktop (yes, desktop hardware NOT laptop hardware) i7 9700K and 2080 Super. Quick benchmarks I've tested include Valorant on highest settings around 500+ FPS in customs and 300+ in full 10-person games and 200+ FPS on games like Destiny 2 on ultra quality settings. The screen is a 1080p screen regardless, so no personal benchmarks were done on higher resolutions. 10/10 for the screen. Personally, I play more relatively competitive games which would benefit FPS games over lesser-competitive-style games. Thus, I would take the 240hz any day over the resolution. It's a 1ms delay monitor; the screen tearing is pretty much negligible. 15 inches is a sweet spot for me as well. 14-inch screens tend to be too small for me (lots of squinting needed), and 16+ tend to be too bulky. 10/10 for weight and physical appearance. The case is a metal/premium feel; an indirect con is I often feel a need to protect the laptop casing more than others. The metal may feel like it gets scratched easier, although yet it is very strong and feels very smooth. This actually weighs decently less than my previous ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 (with 2060 & Ryzen 9 4900HS). 9/10 for peripherals. Comes with a camera, a solid two USB slots, and USB-C. However, there is no ethernet (would've been a 10/10 breaker for me if they had one) and no Displayport, although USB-C to DP conversion is possible. On the other hand, the lack of ethernet is always understandable for thin and notebook-style power laptops. 11/10 for price. The fact this laptop was on sale for $1,199 during Prime day was an absolute no-brainer steal for me. However, when considering the default price of $1,599, it doesn't hype a bargain as well. 10/10 for battery. AMD has stepped up their game with long-life battery capabilities by providing their CPUs with significantly less TDP & power usage compared to Intel CPUs. Tangent-wise, AMD CPUs in the past few years being capable of providing on-par performance, and similar pricing, but only requiring a quarter of the power usage of typical Intel CPUs are why AMD chips are now better known in the industry today. The battery lasts anywhere from 8 to 12 hours of non-gaming usage. This is perfect for my lectures, classes, and a day of usage containing mostly non-gaming purposes. The 8 vs. 12 is mainly influenced by internet usage and program CPU usage. Either way, 8 hours for a day's worth of juice is more than I can ask for, ESPECIALLY with a gaming laptop. Cons: 7/10 for the hinge. Aside from common complaints regarding broken hinges posted on Reddit and similar 3rd party forums, the hinge seems a bit bothering to me. Ironically, with the hinge's capability to go a full 180 degrees, it seems very unstable when doing so and very easily prone to a snap or damage on the hinge when pushed to its extent. Either way, I'm much more careful about the hinge, but I have to do so in the first case because of its noticeably unstable design. Other than that, this laptop is worth every penny for the price I bought for. In the case this laptop goes back to the same or similar pricing again, I suggest all gamers add this phenomenal 4-pound powerhouse to their bucket lists.

Exceptional labtop
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pretty dang good when it comes to game play capabilities. Pretty poor battery as is to be expected in labtop. My w key is a little messed up. In other words; don't be rough with the keys in the keyboard because they're butterfly keys and you can't just pop them out and replace them. Display is really good.

Great pc
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome laptop. Can play any PC game with easy on max settings. The graphics are flawless. The system runs great and honestly couldn't tell you what it cannot do with ease. The only downside are the hinges no matter how careful you are. Will have to get a replacement for it but it will be worth to have again if still available.

Perfect Thin and Light gaming laptop with 1 catch
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop is one of the most power thin and light gaming laptops you can buy. It offers similiar performance but at 500$ less than the Razer Blade 15 with a rtx 3070. -The Fans hit around 52DB in performance mode when gaming, after a while it will throttle very slightly. You can manually turn the fans to MAX where they get close to 60DB but no throttling will occur if your concerned about getting an extra 200mhz on your CPU clock speed. While not bad at Auto if set to Max theres quiet a bit of coil whine, I think its unavoidable in fans this small though running that fast - The battery life is amazing setting screen at 60Hz and battery savermode it streamed youtube for over 13 hours. -The 240HZ 1080p screen has really good color accuracy 99.9% SRgb - The trackpad is very nice but I thought the keys where a bit to squisy/soft for my liking The only major drawback to this laptop is it doesn't support USBC charging. A nice feature to have in any laptop but seems extra important in a modern ultraportable gaming laptop.

Great laptop for gaming, nothing to complain about
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The laptop is very powerful for the price. It is a thin and light gaming laptop that can be carried anywhere. The battery life is actually impressive for the performance; on battery life mode, it can last up to 10-12 hours running continuously. The thermals of this laptop are the best I've seen in a gaming laptop (I always had Intel gaming laptops before), and the fan noise isn't loud unless you set it to the extreme mode. The screen is good but has average brightness. The speakers' quality is also good but average. Overall, it is a very good laptop for the price. I've seen reviews about a broken hinge, but it is not true. My friend had it for over one year and recommended me this laptop because of the quality (I had an Alienware M15 R4 before). In conclusion, the hinge will not break if they are treated normally. Of course, if you try to break them, they will break like every other laptop in the market.

Supreme! (Now supports AMD FSR 3 on CoD Warzone)
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.AMD advantage edition! Supreme combo cpu gpu. This is a beast of a laptop. Premium build. This now supports FSR 3 on cod warzone. It is amazing how many more FPS you get. Iv tried many (Literally dozens) of other brands and wayy more expensive units. This is the one! Using the HDMI out also boosts FPS. Using it on a 4k or QHD monitor is no problem! I was hesitant because I've never used a msi brand laptop before but this is top notch! I highly recommend msi brand. I had zero issues setting up the laptop with the software installed. I prefer the MSI software like MSI Center over anything on a Lenovo Legion, Acer, Asus or Dell. Using the 3D Mark demo on steam. I get over 10,000 score. I bought 2 of these. Both perform the same.
