Description
SynopsisWith the passage of a comet, a strange green dust descended on the world. After exhaustive study, scientists concluded there was nothing to be alarmed about, as the dust had no effect on terrestrial beings. But they were wrong. In fact, the dust had awakened small plants and fungi to full consciousness. Quickly they began forming alliances and building tribes and nations — and now that nation-building has erupted into full-blown war. In the dark of night, while most of the world sleeps, the Mushroom Men are at their most active, carrying out their minuscule struggle away from watchful eyes. What will be the outcome when tiny toadstools unleash their wrath against their fellow mushrooms and other enemies of diminutive size?In Mushroom Men: The Spore Wars, you play as a brave Bolete Mushroom, a heroic misfit in a small-scale world fraught with peril. View the mundane world anew from your 3"-high perspective as you explore ordinary terrain now rendered in spooky, threatening oversized form. Prepare to put your courage to the test as you battle enemy Mushroom Men, as well as other hazards such as spiders and scorpions. Use your wits to transform objects in the environment into weapons on the fly, and unleash your special spore-based powers to destroy your opponents. In Mushroom Men: The Spore Wars, it's not all fun among the fungi.

Mushroom men was a very fun game. Its a unique adventure game thats not all about combat. It has good graphics for wii and some interesting music. The levels are very large and lets you explore. You can find pieces to make weapons and some objects that make you stronger. Overall its a good game. Some of the most fun i've had on the wii.

Fun, but short play time

Mushroom Men is a fun game to play with some interesting logic challenges throughout the game. The biggest let down was the short playtime to complete the game. The graphics and sound effects are upscale compared to most Wii games I have played. I thought some of the timing for the jumps required you to be overly precise. I prefer to play games for an interesting story line and witty challenges as opposed to requiring the ability to press a jump button at exactly the right moment to advance to the next stable location on the screen. This game required, for me at least, an inordinate amount of retracing steps to reattempt proper jump timing. However I would certainly recommend this game. I do intend to purchase the sequel as there will undoubtedly be one offered. Look's like the birth of a new platform.

When i first saw the game in a magazine i wasn't that intrested, but now i love the game i dont want to stop playing it. i loved how the character is only 3 inches high, so when i went into a tiny shack in the game the place seemed huge, it could take an hour to get on top of a chair! anyway if your looking for a game with lots of action adventure and good graphics than this is the game u want
