A: The machine comes with instructions on how to operate. I recommend reading that. It’s very simple, insert the pod, fill the water, select which size cup you would like, and wait. With the frother, if you look inside you will find a max and minimum line that you can poor milk to. You can use any type of milk. I look oat milk. If you would like to have a cold foam, you must hold the button the entire time. Otherwise press the button once and it will make a hot foam for you. Super easy.
Q: is there nespresso thatI can use coffee and not the prefilled cups?
A: Rosie, I bought the Nespresso package deal with a free recycle mail-in bag and have wondered about the same question. I make use of reusable capsules for my Keurig to eliminate the single use, multi-material, non-reusable capsules used in that machine. I found at least one reference online to "Refillable Nespresso Capsules & Pods", however, I have not bought or tried them myself, so can not offer an opinion. I do find some comfort in that the Nespresso capsules are 100% aluminum (other than the coffee) and recyclable. Since espresso is a high pressure coffee maker, I understand the need for a pressure capsule like the Nespresso aluminum pods, and would have to be confident that a reusable pod would supply the necessary pressure integrity to perform correctly. Sorry I can't share first hand experience.

A: Original pods only. I've bough the Starbucks and Peets pods.
A: As long as you get 'original nespresso capsules' or 'orginal-line nespresso capsules', they should work in this machine. You can purchase some from Best Buy...I'm not sure I can mention a competitor, but I bought a great-tasting variety pack of Peet's capsules from a warehouse store that rhymes with 'boss grow' for around 38 cents per capsule. Most capsules are meant for single-use. You can try to get 2 or more uses from a single capsule, but it'll taste more and more diluted. If you're worried about waste, you can buy SEALPODs. BTW, Peet's has a recycling program that I'm using. They use foil capsules so to them it's like recycling an aluminum can after emptying out the used grounds into a compost pile.
Q: Is this machine can make latte and cappuccino?
A: It makes espresso, which is used in making lattes and cappuccinos. You have to do a little work.
